Great character and world building
Revisado: 03-13-24
Really enjoyed this story, can’t wait to read more in the series. The author did a great job of world building and character development

Great story, bad narrator
Revisado: 01-11-23
Stina Nielsen just doesn’t do it for me. She has the same intonations and her tone during intimate scenes is awful. Love the story and wish Jennifer Armentrout would get a different narrator for her audiobooks

Historia
Charlie Hall has never found a lock she couldn’t pick, a book she couldn’t steal, or a bad decision she wouldn’t make. She's spent half her life working for gloamists, magicians who manipulate shadows to peer into locked rooms, strangle people in their beds, or worse. Gloamists guard their secrets greedily, creating an underground economy of grimoires. And to rob their fellow magicians, they need Charlie Hall.

Great story, subpar narrator
Revisado: 11-29-22
The writing was incredible and beautiful, but the narrator’s monotone voice with the same speaking patterns really didn’t do the writing justice.

Historia
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Disappointing
Revisado: 01-19-22
Both the story and narrator were disappointing. The story was predictable and not as well written as the first three books. This narrator was painfully dramatic and made a poorly written story sound even worse.

Not Great
Revisado: 12-08-21
After reading a dozen Kristin Hannah books, I was disappointed with this one. The story was far fetched and not relatable and the narrator was overly dramatic.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Incredible
Revisado: 09-19-18
The writing was captivating and the performance was amazing. I didn’t want to stop listening! Got through the book in 2 days. The writing is so vivid and takes you to the settings described. The performance adds another layer to reel you in and make you feel like you’re right there in the marsh. 100% recommend!
