Historia
Ilea is going home. After a small detour to raid an old Necromancer’s treasure room. After months in the barren and deadly North, Ilea returns to Ravenhall to rest, check-in on old friends, and of course–train her resistances. Her homecoming includes a visit to Riverwatch where she encounters new allies… and old enemies. But what would a good holiday be without a few fights and near-death experiences?

Revisado: 09-24-24
My biggest complaints are the discontinuity between the previous book arcs. Felix was a fire mage not an ice mage. The previous Executive Officer, forgot his name by the end of the book- Eudward I think, was an Immortal not an NPC.
Next I like books with a sexual undercurrent but I'm disappointed there isn't any homosexuality, not even a side character somewhere. You dedicated an entire mermaid experience to sex but not even a kiss between men?
Like the book and the direction. The change in narrator is weird but I deducted points from the book not the narrator, his performance was not bad. There are some editing errors and incorrect names used.
Don't know why you needed a new series as this technically continues from the last book but I guess it's to allow for the continuity flaws.

love this series, it's hard to find books not leaning into base building and not leaning heavy into overbearing politics. Its a light and fun book easy to listen to.

Historia
Becoming a knockoff Dracula in tight leather pants was never part of Vincent’s plans. Neither was being summoned to another world by a cult of vampire wannabes. But both happened. Now, Vincent’s left to pick up the tattered pieces of his humanity as he tries to grow strong enough to keep his family safe. The world is filled with nightmares, and the looming threat of losing his soul stands between his goal and his reality, so it’s not like it will be too hard or anything. Hell should tremble. A good man is going to war.

Change is life. Consistency is a lie. Control is an illusion. Those are the words which greeted Tim upon his arrival in this new world which has become his home. They are the mantra that he has been forced to live. But are they true? Is there room for him to nudge his reality in the direction he wants to go? If he has to change so be it. He’ll ride the waves and make it work for him. This time he is determined to become Unstoppable.

Also f**k off with the hours of stat sheet. Maybe 2-3 times and only the changes if they had real value otherwise dont. You could rather have used the time to slow the ending and may have given us some direct interaction with Charles and Ceaser. I would have loved for example Charles to try and control him with the book of names and failed, or something other than pointless talk.
I don't regret the credit, but I won't invest more into pointless stat sheets.

Historia
Zero is just one of 20,000 people aboard a spaceship bound for a new planet set to be colonized. The journey is over a century long but luckily, everyone is in stasis, so they’ll be safe and sound asleep during the trip. Everyone that is, except for Zero, whose pod has malfunctioned, waking him up a hundred years early. His initial excitement in roaming the ship alone quickly turns to a heart-stopping interstellar adventure when a family of space pirates show up, trying to hijack the ship and take the colonizers hostage.

Great series kids friendly
Revisado: 03-31-23
I'm might be a bit too old for the target audience, but it's a testament to my desperation to find a space exploration series that is driven by discovery rather than politics and war. I'm looking for books themed like star trek which is about discovering the great unknown.
This series, offers a fun exploration from the unlikely perspective of a 12 year old boy, too be fair that kid is luckier than he has any right to be but that's perhaps why I might be too old for the series.
My review, great work with the sound design and thanks to the whole cast for their excellent performance. (Did the series need a full cast?)
In terms of story all 3 endings feel rushed, I would've liked to experience the full resolve, especially the micro reactions and interactions of the charcters in the end. If the books and/ or series were longer perhaps you could have fitted in more discovery and interactions with the world. You created a massively beautiful and different world but the characters spend most of it in bunkers.
Even so I would highly recommend this series to anyone that can tolerate teenager logic and is looking for a light space adventure series. My biggest problem with the series is the superficial, rushed, "and they live happily ever after", endings that leave a lot undone and unsaid and the shallow use of space.
The worst that the swearing might get is "crap" and "holy genades", several instances of "poop", I don't remember anything worse, I for one don't particularly mind swearing so I don't normally notice these things.
Note, I'm neither a parent and I'm also older that the teenager audience for which this series is meant and my following review of this series would reflect that.

The micro interactions I would've like to see in book 1 was at the beginning of book 2, also Zero painted his brother's stasis pods, yet nothing was said or done in that regard.
In book 2 I would've liked more world exploration, I mean Zero and Nix survived a unknown possibly hostile world while being hunted by bad humans for a few days, then spend the rest of the time locked away until book 3. I would've expected a bit more interaction between the governor and Zero.
In book 3, Zero and nix thought no one would believe them, but finding a compartment that doesn't exist on the map should've been proof enough. Yes the adults were busy but couldn't they have spared 1 security person to at least watch them. Book 3 security personnel has communicators on their collars. Couldn't they spare the time to give at the very least Zero a hidden emergency call an adult communicator or alarm or well anything of the sort? In fact it would've been prudentto give everyone an emergency button or layer the base with emergency calling stations.
I know nothing happened for several months but considering the importance of both Zero's parents and all of Zero's adventures, I would've thought Zero would at the very least warrent 1 babysitter or some credibility.

A litrpg with everything I love about games without the stat puking and although like most books in obtaining a killer starting location or base. They aren't restricted by it through focusing on base building and resource management. Best of both worlds. Love the jokes.

Ilea likes punching things. And eating. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many career options for hungry brawlers. Instead, the plan is to quit her crappy fast-food job, go to college, and become a fully functioning member of society. Essentially—a fate worse than death.
