Historia
In 1177 B.C., marauding groups known only as the "Sea Peoples" invaded Egypt. The pharaoh’s army and navy managed to defeat them, but the victory so weakened Egypt that it soon slid into decline, as did most of the surrounding civilizations. After centuries of brilliance, the civilized world of the Bronze Age came to an abrupt and cataclysmic end. Kingdoms fell like dominoes over the course of just a few decades. No more Minoans or Mycenaeans. No more Trojans, Hittites, or Babylonians.

no real conclusions offered.
Revisado: 10-10-19
while a lot of archeology is quoted, no real or definitive conclusions are offered. A lot of repetitious quotes throughout. I was disappointed with this work.

Trapped and surrounded by the Germans, the besieged Americans seemed doomed. But a daring action by General Patton would break through the German lines and end the siege of Bastogne, bringing supplies and reinforcements that would allow the Americans to prove their mettle at the largest battle fought on the Western Front in Europe.

Far too brief in scope. You can get more detail from a comic book. I expected much more.

Very limited in scope and detail. I was expecting a more thorough discussion of this important battle. Instead, I got more of a brief synopsis.

How did the universe begin? How did the world get here? Where and how did the human race start? Patriarchs and Prophets is a book about beginnings. In fascinating, easy-to-understand language, it describes exactly how planet Earth, and the people who live on it, began.

Poorly written - Terribly narrated
Revisado: 11-26-10
As a practicing christian, I was hoping for some insight into the lives of the founders of Old Testament Judeo-Christianity. What I got was poorly written abstracts of Old Testaments stories, heavily laced with erroneous theology and out-right imagination on the part of the author. The narrator was so poor, I felt a high-school child could have done better. To summarize, If I could get my money back for this title, I would. As it si both Ms. Ellen White and Mr. Eddie Hernandez are on my list of author/narrators to avoid like a biblical plague.
