Fast-forward 20 years, and Edie hasn't changed, but San Francisco has. Still a bartender in the Mission, Edie now serves a seemingly never-ending stream of tech bros while the punk rock parties of the millennium's end are long gone.

Yeah, like what do we do now that we've been thrust unwillingly back into the world of the normies as middle aged punks, hippies, ravers and ... nerds? I loved this love letter to an invisible time in SF that has dissolved. I loved this book and wish Edie the best in figuring it all out.
