Historia
My life was going just fine by most standards. I ran a successful business in a tight-knit magical community, and lived just blocks from a beautiful lake and series of hiking trails. Then Selene showed up. According to some magical code I inherit my aunt's ancient familiar; a grumpy 10-pound cat with a broken filter.

Revisado: 06-05-22
The story is pleasant, the characters are cute, but the author should have her work edited. Phrases like “found a parking lot in the small lot” and “it was heavy, even ponderous” are frequent and irritating, and so easy to avoid by using a good editor! I will never understand how a publisher will pay all this money to a voice talent before having the novel edited properly. Not that I’m offering my services (wink wink), but I would enjoy helping make these cute novels even more enjoyable.

Great Package to Kick Off a Witchy Series
- De Wynne en 01-29-20
Needs a thorough editing
Revisado: 01-23-21
The premise is good, and the story could be made to work, but the author needs to learn that less is more. Unnecessary drama (Oh, if I only could find an answer to my questions! My heart skips a beat every time this guy looks at me when I am very much in love with my boyfriend! Oh, poor me, I am quite self-assured, but always afraid!). Too many unnecessary adjectives and adverbs. And she needs to learn proper English. “Break out” is not the same as “break up”, for instance. Cliches abound, and sometimes combine with hilarious (or irritating) results. There are examples in every paragraph, except I need to listen again taking notes, which I am not going to do. The interpretation, however, is flawless. All in all, a good book to fall (frequently) asleep to, mostly because it is so forgettable that even the irritations cannot keep you from it.

Historia
Riley Kennedy’s emails keep getting crossed with her male colleague, Kennedy Riley. The infuriating man forwards them along with his annoying commentary and unsolicited advice. At least she never has to see him in person, since they work in different locations…until they come face to face at the office holiday party.

Every single cliche about romance in a single two-hour story
Revisado: 12-11-19
Even though predictable, the plot is not bad, but the characters and the language are so ridiculously clichéed, it’s painful! And the author constantly gets her idioms mixed up. All in all, this was too irritating to even fall asleep while listening to.

Historia
When her boss tells her about the discoveries in a cramped, decrepit apartment in the ninth arrondissement, Sotheby' s continental furniture specialist April Vaught does not hear "dust" or "rats" or "shuttered for 70 years". She hears Paris. She hears escape. She cannot board the plane fast enough. When she arrives, April quickly learns the apartment is more than just some rich hoarder' s repository. Beneath the dust and cobwebs and stale perfumed air is a literal goldmine - and not just in terms of actual dollars.

Irritating « French » accents!
Revisado: 01-30-19
The intrigue of Marthe is interesting although rather predictable in the end. The American side of the story is utterly boring. What would have ruined the story for a less patient reader, however, was the false French and American accents of the various protagonists and the obvious lack of any foreign language knowledge. Grammatical errors, intonation errors, cultural ignorance were prevalent. This was not a total waste of time, but I won’t be holding on to this book.

Historia
When most girls get engaged, at most they face a disapproving mother-in-law, but in Tessa Sharpe's case, it's a nation. No one in the tiny kingdom of Avonia wants the former anti-royal blogger to wed Prince Arthur. The anti-royals haven't forgiven her for abandoning ship and swimming over to the Prince's yacht, and the royal watchers won't ever forget all the horrible things she wrote about their beloved Royal Family. Up against all odds, Tessa has only six months to prove herself worthy of the title of Princess. Her nasty father-in-law is going to throw every obstacle in her way.

The book is so good that even the male voice cannot ruin it completely
Revisado: 04-09-18
The male voice is too old, doesn’t match the character and does ridiculous imitations of females speaking even when the subject mater is serious. The female interpreter is excellent and the story is very good. Read the written word if you can - the audio book is a waste of $7.
