Blame Me
Revisado: 01-20-25
Greetings, I’m Finlay Beach, the author of The Seventh Pawn. This isn’t my first novel, but it is a passion project—listen, and you’ll understand.
Who would have guessed that Stephen Floyd would become the narrator? I certainly didn’t when I was writing the manuscript. But this thriller was made for him, and his linguistic talents bring it to life in ways that will amaze you. He is a master, and together, we tell a story that needs to be shared.
Enjoy, and let us know what you think!

Historia
The Constitution of Liberty is considered Hayek's classic statement on the ideals of freedom and liberty, ideals that he believes have guided - and must continue to guide - the growth of Western civilization. Here, Hayek defends the principles of a free society, casting a skeptical eye on the growth of the welfare state and examining the challenges to freedom posed by an ever-expanding government.

You remember the story: some locations did better than others on Covid because some locations followed the rules, and others foolishly ignored them. Covid spread was your fault, you science hater! There is precisely zero evidence behind any aspect of this morality play, which is demolished by this book. Diary of a Psychosis is different from all other books on Covid: it traces the development of the government response as it happened, bit by bit, and subjects it to relentless scrutiny: did any of it do any good?

Historia
Dave Rubin launched his political talk show The Rubin Report in 2015 as a meeting ground for free thinkers who realize that partisan politics is a dead end. He hosts people he both agrees and disagrees with - including those who have been dismissed, deplatformed, and despised - taking on the most controversial issues of our day. As a result, he’s become a voice of reason in a time of madness. Now, Rubin gives you the tools you need to think for yourself in an age when tribal outrage is the only available alternative.

Surprised I’m surprised
Revisado: 12-14-20
I’ve been listening to Dave Rubin’s podcasts for over two years... not every one but most. So when I bought this book I was expecting a monologue of expected content. BUT I found the book so thoughtful and David’s narration and humility gave the words meaning and context. A reasoned and hopeful work which stayed surprisingly fresh. I’ve recommended it heartily.

great start for a new series.

Mark Goodwin did it again. nothing is better than reading about a character's problems to make you forget the crisis we find ourselves in. Great distraction, nicely written and the requisite cliffhanger excites the reader to wait for the sequel. keep them coming!

Historia
This book is about the great moral issues underlying many of the headline-making political controversies of our times. It is not a comforting book but a book about disturbing and dangerous trends. The Quest for Cosmic Justice shows how confused conceptions of justice end up promoting injustice, how confused conceptions of equality end up promoting inequality, and how the tyranny of social visions prevents many people from confronting the actual consequences of their own beliefs and policies.

Why are there so few people out there telling the truth. Thomas Sowell keeps it real and speaks plainly. The reader is not my cup of tea. Reminds me of a professor I once had...smarter than anyone but no feel for communicating the importance of the lesson. Buy this book.
