Brilliant

I throughly enjoyed this book . A little bit hard to sort out the characters for the first two chapters . Persevere. Such a worthwhile listen . The narrator was brilliant . The storyline was brilliant. I am now looking for another book by this Author .

I have listened to all of the Last Kingdom Series . I fell in love with the little boy who was renamed Utred after his brother and Father were slaughtered by the Danes . However being bought up by Ragner Ragnerson saved his life many times . His adventures his triumphs and sorrows were a joy to listen to . I love his dedication to his men his women and his Friends Finnan being most notable . Bernard Cornwell is an amazing writer I can’t get enough of his writing . Please listen to this series it is the best money you will spend ….. enjoy

I loved this book !

Being English it was an education to listen to Lady Clementine : there were things In this book I didn’t know . Marie Benedict made this such a warm easy listen full of information really showing that behind every successful Man there is a brilliant patient nurturing Women . Kudos to Elizabeth Sastre who’s delivery was fantastic . For me she will always be Lady Clementine .

The story was easy to listen to and had good content . However I found Susan Jameson’s voice very shrill and too hurried It’s worth one credit if your really searching for something to listen to

Very graphic !!

I enjoyed the first two books and almost enjoyed the third. The Battles became very repetitive and the battle descriptions more horrific . I started to dislike Sir John as he became more greedy and violent . The Narrator was the best I’ve ever heard he was the one that kept me listening .
