While I don’t fully agree with the author, I will agree that we should do a better job of focusing on the important issues that matter to each individual so that we can make it possible to solve the bigger issues that our society faces.

I’m an absolute fan of Julia Kent and her work on the “Do Over” series. The only reason this gets 4 stars is I wanted to have more honeymoon hijinks…and what happens in Tahiti???

Best laughs I've had in a while!

For someone who has seen what those guys go through, the fact he is able to write about it and make you laugh all throughout the book makes it all the more worthwhile. The narrator also does an awesome job...so good that I lost myself in the story more than once!

Lots of ups & downs, but worth the listen

If you want straight romantic tropes, look elsewhere. But if you like twists and turns, this series is worth it in the end. It does take each of the main characters a while to realize where their love really lies, but even then there are other things to overcome. For a YA romance series, it was a lot of fun to listen to Laurie West and she always has done a great job with Clarissa's material. You won't be disappointed. And unless you like spending 3 separate credits, get the boxed set which gets you all 3 books for only 1 credit!

Good story, narration took some getting used to

I enjoyed the book overall, but I had to cringe whenever the narrator tried to do a male voice. I eventually got over it, but it took a few chapters.

Cliche`but that's how you want it

Ms. West's reading of this celebrity falling for an "everyday" woman had me from the start. The story is definitely cliche`, but isn't that how a romantic novel should read? Doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it, though.

Let me say that I'm glad I didn't have to wait for each of the 5 books, because waiting would have driven me mad! You start the first book and then you have to just listen to the entire set just to see how things go between all the characters. Ms. Carlyle does a very good job of getting you hooked on a character, so I'm going to have to find more of her novels and see if the hype I've just created for her matches up...
