Historia
At the tender age of twelve, Jaleel White auditioned for the role of Steve Urkel, the socially inept genius, who was in love with his next-door neighbor, Laura. Though Steve Urkel was intended to be in only one episode, Jaleel’s indelible performance catapulted Urkel into the pantheon of American pop culture. But success can cost as much as it pays. After nine years on the popular sitcom Family Matters, Jaleel is twenty-one, a UCLA undergrad, and adjusting to a world and industry that sees him as the nasally nerd in high water pants, suspenders, and coke bottle glasses.

Jaleel has a knack for story telling!
Revisado: 12-25-24
Let me tell you, it felt like I was sitting down having a conversation with my buddy Jaleel. The truths, the wild stories, the impersonations, the language, all made this feel like an authentic telling of his life and the lessons he took away from his experiences thus far. I laughed, frowned and even cried a little. What seems like it would be a very niche life to read about is far more relatable than most would expect. White tells a story that can feel familiar, outlandish and inspiring all at once. If you are on the fence, I say get the audiobook and hear not your voice or Urkel's but the voice of a man who has been a fixture in pop culture for decades and is still managing to be his true, down to earth, self.

Amazing narration of a story that touched my soul

Amazing narration of a story that touched my soul
Revisado: 10-12-23
This was my first time hearing of Nana Nkweti but I pray it is not the last. This story had heart wrenching components, humor, colorful characters, secrets that made you feel close to our protagonist. The narrator took it to another level with her velvety smooth voice and ability to give each character life. A must listen, buy, read. Thank you Ursa!

Historia
From the author of the wildly successful Dexter series comes a new, mesmerizing bad guy we can root for: Riley Wolfe. He’s a master thief, expert at disguise, and not averse to violence. It’s no accident, though, that Riley targets the wealthiest 0.1 percent and is willing to kill them when they’re in his way: He despises the degenerate and immoral rich and loves stealing their undeserved and unearned valuables. In this series launch, Riley aims for an extraordinary target in a heist that will make history. Riley will try to steal the Crown Jewels of Iran.

Good story with twists, author not best narrator
Revisado: 07-18-23
it was a really good read. I couldn't predict things and was unsure while things were happening! Think I could have done without the last chapter. would have preferred to be left hanging. and the author wasn't the best at doing the voices. but I always appreciate hearing it the way the author intended it to sound. all in all good book! I recommend

Touching and Fascinating Read
Revisado: 06-05-23
This was a wonderful read of a touching story! Discovered Levar Burton Reads late but the upside is the ability to binge these stories. This one certainly made me go searching for the authors other works the minute the recording was done.
