Historia
Darrow would have lived in peace, but his enemies brought him war. The Gold overlords demanded his obedience, hanged his wife, and enslaved his people. But Darrow is determined to fight back. Risking everything to transform himself and breach Gold society, Darrow has battled to survive the cutthroat rivalries that breed Society's mightiest warriors, climbed the ranks, and waited patiently to unleash the revolution that will tear the hierarchy apart from within.

Drop in quality near the end
Revisado: 02-13-22
The book was decent until near the end. It had a huge drop in what seems like the author trying a new writing style.

Historia
Phiona Mutesi sleeps in a decrepit shack with her mother and four siblings and struggles to find a single meal each day. Phiona Mutesi is also one of the best chess players in the world. One day in 2005, while searching for food, nine-year-old Phiona followed her brother to a dusty veranda where she met Robert Katende, another child of the Ugandan slums, who works for an American organization that offers relief and religion through sports. Robert introduced Phiona to the game of chess and soon recognized her immense talent.

Overly Religious
Revisado: 11-16-19
The reviews for this book severely underplay how big of a component religion is to this story. If I had known going in that this book had several chapters dedicated to christianity, I would not have purchased it.

Not for the expert, but a great start
Revisado: 10-17-15
Would you consider the audio edition of C Programming Professional Made Easy: Expert C Programming Language Success in a Day for Any Computer User! to be better than the print version?
Yes
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. And multiple times.
Any additional comments?
Look, this book isn't going to make you an expert in one listen but you really don't want that. It gets you through the basics. I'd say; get the audio book and listen a couple of times through. Then play it in the background while you're working and doing other things. It's a great method to get used to terminology and get used to the idea of programming, and it's fundamental concepts.
After you get through this, just go read the GNU C manual. The two together work as a great pair to get you started off.

Are you fed up with reading long, boring, lengthy paragraphs after paragraphs of text and want to get up and running in Python as soon as possible? Well, you're not alone. I for one hate having to read through masses of text for very little benefit. Python Programming: How to Code Python Fast in Just 24 Hours with Seven Simple Steps strips away the non-essentials and instead provides you with the fundamentals from which you can blossom as a Python programmer in just seven simple steps.

Descriptive, but good.
Revisado: 10-23-14
Would you listen to Python Programming again? Why?
Yes, its easy to follow and provides some decent fundamentals for python.
Were the concepts of this book easy to follow, or were they too technical?
The only issue I notice is when discussing code, or URLs, he sometimes goes into depth like "This bracket, than this symbol, etc".
Any additional comments?
This book is a bit more technical than the other python book Audible, so I would suggest listening to it second. (Listen to Python Programming Techniques, by Lance Gifford first.)

Out of Date, but good foundation
Revisado: 10-23-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. this book provides an easy to digest foundation for best security practices, and lots of terminology the readers may be unfamiliar with. If you are studying for the test, do not rely only on this book, as it is out of date, and only meant to be supplimental.
Any additional comments?
An up to date version would be wonderful, for the SYS-401

Its worth $5.
Revisado: 10-23-14
What did you love best about Python Programming Techniques?
Look, it's an hour long book. And it's only $5. You will not learn to code in an hour from an audio book. But it does cover terminology and basic coding procedures.
This comes in handy for people like me, who listened to it on the way in to work, and home.
Any additional comments?
I would suggest listening to this one first, and then listen to: Python Programming, by Scotts, Jason
