Writer had no business narrating!

Although the story is not bad, the narration is so terrible, that I had to stop listening. The writer had no business narrating her own story. She is just awful! It came across very monotone and flat and totally destroyed the Listening for me. If I’d have paid more than $5.30, I’d ask for my money back!!

Thoroughly enjoyed these books. The narrator is excellent and brought all the characters alive. Loved being able to read the complete series in one shot.

The Narrator Makes the Story Come Alive

This is the fourth book I've read of C.E. Murphy's and this series looks to be as good as her Negotiator series. The narrator, Christine Carroll is absolutely fabulous, making the characters come to life! I look forward to listening to more books narrated by her!

Loved the series!

Wow! What a wonderful series! And Eve Bianco was a great narrator! Really made the excellent writing of C.E. Murphy come alive. Her accents stayed consistent for each character and added so much to the readings! Can't wait to read her other series but unfortunately Ms. Bianco doesn't narrate this one. Hope the other narrator is as good! Thank you for making my listening pleasure a great experience!

Delightful 2nd in Negotiator Trilogy

Contrary to what others have written, I find the second book in this trilogy just as enjoyable as the first. And the narrator is a delight to listen to. I have no problem distinguishing the players because she effectively stays consistent in her dialects. I look forward to the third book. The author is an excellent writer and it will be like saying goodbye to good friends when I finish the trilogy. Thank you for making my travel hours so enjoyable.

Pleased and delighted with narrator and author

I read some of the reviews after I read this book and contrary to some reviewers, I found the narrator delightful. All of her accents were different and I had NO problem differentiating her characters. She made the book come alive. The author is new to me and I found her writing style extemely enjoyable and down-to-earth. I look forward to listening to more in this series. I highly recommend her work and the narrator.
