Historia
First published by St. Martin's in 1958, Robert Traver's Anatomy of a Murder immediately became the number one best seller in America, and was subsequently turned into the successful and now classic Otto Preminger film. It is is not only the most popular courtroom drama in American fiction, but one of the most popular novels of our time. A gripping tale of deceit, murder, and a sensational trial, Anatomy of a Murder is unmatched in the authenticity of its settings, events, and characters.

Historia
This book, the only biography ever authorized by a sitting President - yet written with complete interpretive freedom - is as revolutionary in method as it is formidable in scholarship. When Ronald Reagan moved into the White House in 1981, one of his first literary guests was Edmund Morris, the Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer of Theodore Roosevelt. Morris developed a fascination for the genial yet inscrutable President and, after Reagan's landslide reelection in 1984, put aside the second volume of his life of Roosevelt to become an observing eye and ear at the White House.

Do not waste your time
Revisado: 05-11-23
From an otherwise brilliant author, his Theodore Roosevelt books are a must read, Morris may have had unprecedented access to the president and those around him, but he never seemed to understand what made the man tick. Plus the gimmick of entering the narrative himself is more than a little off putting. Order the Roosevelt books and let this tome stay on the shelf.

Historia
An historic literary event: the publication of a newly discovered novel, the earliest known work from Harper Lee, the beloved, best-selling author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic To Kill a Mockingbird. Originally written in the mid-1950s, Go Set a Watchman was the novel Harper Lee first submitted to her publishers before To Kill a Mockingbird. Assumed to have been lost, the manuscript was discovered in late 2014.

Don't Think of it As a Sequel
Revisado: 08-23-17
Go Set a Watchman: A novel by Harper Lee is a pleasent read, but don't think of it as a sequel to To Kill A Mockingbird, it is not. If anything it is an alternative universe, what might have been, had Mockingbird never happened. It is about prejudice, growing up, understanding and humanity. It is a product of a time captured by a master writer, that, like Mockingbird, is hard to put down.

This delightful little book is a wonderful way to get your know the series characters better. Full of insight on experience and motivation that make the whole Skyler Foxe Mystery series that much better. Park your rashional, practical self and pick up the Skyler Foxe Mystery series, you will never have a better time. I have enjoyed reading the Haley Walsh series for some years now and with the audio books now available, the enjoyment is that much more increased as Joel Leslie brings the characters to vivid life. Looking forward to hearing and reading many more installments.
