Lee Winter is one of my most favorite authors! From drama, to suspense, to romance and humor she’s amazing. So this book unsurprisingly was amazing! The humor was so well timed (and not only one kind) but there is so much more depth to this story than that. Both MCs are well crafted and they fit together so well. The story builds up that by the end you really want them to be together because it’s just right. The narrator did a good job. I would have preferred a bit more differentiation when it comes to the female voices. At times is was hard for me to know who was speaking unless it was Margaret. Her voice was the most distinctive one

And just like that we have reached the final part of this wonderful series! Even though I’m not great on football this story captivated me from the beginning. This 3rd part was especially hard to deal with as my distaste for Carlton is so great that I could not bear it even a moment of him gloating like the next President of US. Regardless the story is just as tantalizing with the additional of our good barrister Elle and Catherine’s interactions with her dad. Abby Craden once again has done an amazing job to bring out all the emotions and tackle all the personalities and the variety of accents of the characters!

I hope down the line we’ll meet with these characters again

The MCs are likable and charming but the story does not offer much in the sense of suspense. It a romance with a pretty basic plot and the controversy is pretty simple. Abby Craden with her incredible voice elevated it a lot

This is one of my fav from Arias! The story is warm, compelling, sexy and the suit, moving moments incorporated are so palpable that I did cry a few times reading. Raquel and Taylor, the MCs are sooo well suited for each other and their chemistry is through the roof since moment one! Being a fan of this book as one can imagine, I was thrilled that it was made to an audio book. It took a bit getting used to the narrators breathy tone which is incorporated in the whole book. It would have been easier on the ears if the story telling tone was a bit more neutral and then the breathy tones would make more sense with the characters. Sometimes it was a bit confusing for me trying to separate the MCs when talking. Having said that the narrator did a great job transferring the feeling of the more delicate and moving moments

An insight to the mysterious Headmistress

I have to admit that The Headmistress is actually my favorite book/audiobook from this author! Thus I was particularly excited to delve more into the mystery and glory that is Magdalene Nox. While this book gave us a good insight into Magdalene’s relationship with Timothy and her mom (I do love Candace) and also more scenes with her and Willoughby which are adorable, I cannot say that it was as spectacular as The Headmistress. It felt a lot like an exact retelling and in some moments it took away from the mystery of Magdalene…I found her thoughts of how Sam constantly made her destroy her panties even in the midst of chaos…unrealistic for this character at best. Abby Craden did a spectacular job, actually elevating some of the scenes in the audiobook form. At the end of the day do I feel that this book is needed? I cannot say that 100% but it was enjoyable nevertheless.

This book started out very interesting with the main characters feeling instant attraction to each other when they first meet being in opposite ends when it comes to basically everything. Then we are thrown 6 years later and life brings them back at each other’s lives as rivals. The premise is really good, however I have a slight problem with the execution. Ash and Caitlin do have a lot that they need to figure out about themselves first and then them as something other than colleagues/rivals etc There are a lot of arguments and a lot of childish imo misunderstandings happening between them that are never actually resolved. Both characters are into their heads so much (which we get to witness) but they do not sit down to really talk. Also I have to say that at times their thoughts were too much of horny teens rather than mature adults. I wanted a bit more in depth conversations between them so the HEA would make a bit more sense. Their reactions were mostly over the top to the point they were both annoying. Angela did her best and the voices she chose were beautifully executed. What I missed is a deeper connection between these beautiful ladies. The supporting characters appearing were obscured at large apart from Caitlin’s sister

I really enjoyed this book. The story is easygoing and pleasant but you still get to explore some of the difficulties an age gap teacher/student relationships presents. Both main characters are intriguing and they have good chemistry. The story has a good pace, not too slow not too fast. A nice light read. The narrator has done a pretty good job bringing it all to life

Elle is an English professor in her 30s that is highly intrigued by one of her students Hunter who is a 21 mature beyond words mysterious young woman. There is certainly chemistry between the two characters and it is interesting how the more “confused” character between them is Elle which leads to a lot of misunderstandings/fights and a bit of unnecessary drama in my opinion. Angela has done an exceptional job with all the characters! I especially love Hunter’s voice. At this is the first book of this series I’m interested to see what happens down the line
