compelling story and characters

glad I found this. plot is excellent based on a very unique premise. characters are very sympathetic you really get pulled in. Cavalon is a bit self absorbed at times but you keep pulling for him to frow up. (he is 27:) the narration is excellent. hope this series continues.

I love Baldacci and have listened to all of his books. This is not his best work. Although the character development of the two lead females is interesting, the plot seemed very contrived to me. also did not like the narration.
