🎧 Needed a small town listen vibe after the last book I finished. Both narrators are comfort for my ears so away we go.

🎧 It flowed like a small waterfall. Jasper surprised me, I didn't expect that. The story sounded to me more like a road trip kinda story. I have the Harvey chapters as well and it's such a good addition, and with Sebastian York perfect for that character.

🎧 Need Beau's story.

🎧 Usually I can keep a straight face while listening. I was taking a walk while listening to this and I have to say that I did stop, smiling to myself in the middle of the pavement, mid afternoon. These things don't usually affect me. Well done.

So much talent

They have me hypnotized with their performance. I am just staring to the void, devouring every word. I was expecting the story to start at a different point in their lives and I was not ready for the fall out. Gut wrenching.
There is nothing to say and not spoil the experience of listening to these two humans together.
Hands down my favourite Rocca book. Ms. Benson we will meet again. Mr. Morgan , if there is one thing I can take from listening to audio books is discovering your work. It is so emotional in all the levels. (I like the fact that I write as if he is reading it). Bottom line is it's an amazing performance from both of them. From the banter to the angst to the tenderness to the family to the anger to everything. The chemistry between the two is one of the best ones I have heard. I thought this was going to be too big of a book but it held me up to the end.
Something that makes it extra special in experience, is the fact that Ms. Rocca actually wrote a song for this. Talking about talent.

amazing performance

🎧 Grumpy guy, and they are forced to live together, I like. Would have liked more banter, maybe, but that's just me. There is a history with these two, that is given to us in tiny tiny pieces. By 7% of the book, I know I will get the rest of them at some point, I would like to see the stories of the rest of the family. The way they try to drive each other crazy, my cup of tea. It is a bit slow pace, for those who mind.

🎧 Performance wise. Zachary Johnson is new to me. Why haven't I crossed paths with his work before? It is sooooooooo gooood. Definitely not just reading lines. A new favourite.
Lucy Rivers. Hello. This might be my favourite of the few books I have listened from you so far. The different voices, her emotion. Love it.

🎧 I was in the mood for something unknown, so I picked this up without reading anything about it. Not even the blurb.

🎧 Awesome narration! The voices took me on a wild ride. All of them. (Special thanks to the French Troy Duran * chef's kiss * )

🎧 And boy am I glad I didn't read anything about the book beforehand. People told me there is a twist so my mind immediately thought of something, which did happen eventually, but holy fudge the rest of it, the flow of it actually... I am not saying anything else. People should read this without knowing anything about it.

Just like a good sitcom

🎧I wanted a Watt book and since I am going on a trip to UK soon, this looks like a good option. :D

🎧 Oh, give me all the accents. Half way point. I love it. I miss watching a British sitcom and this feels like that. It did remind me a bit, of Keeping Up Appearances (I loved Hyacinth) without having that vibe though, probably because of the family. It is the kind of story that if you just sit with one character and you want to find and see the flaws, you will. But like a good sitcom you keep watching and having a damn good time with it. It's a constant smile on my face. I hadn't thought the repetitive mention of a product would sound as funny as it did.

🎧 Performancewise. Mr. Watt. Superb. From the main characters, to aunts, to parents, to cat... My respects. One man show. Adored it.

JA Huss magic

🎧 These worlds that Ms. Huss builds, and the amount of work she does on the graphics she provides. Amazing. I am driven towards her writing and also being uneased at the same time by the stories.

🎧 There are some narrators that have a sweetness in their way of performing, which makes me into a puddle. Mr. Mission is one of them. It drove me insane the whole book trying to figure out if I heard him before, because it sounds so familiar. Ms. Redfield's voice can be my friend anytime. There is an "I don't give a dime about anything" vibe to it that I love.

🎧 This is a small town with a twist. As if, it could be a simple small town story by this author. I always had trouble articulating what I think about Ms Huss's books. She explains it, perfectly, after this book finishes. She makes you comfortable, and then turns everything around.

Jafar vibes ✨️

🎧 Yeah, Accents.

🎧 Jafar, of Disney yes, is one of the most fascinated evil characters in my books. I loved his expressions. Mr. Catalano's voice is so in sync with what I have in my head. This books gets a plus just for that alone. And what a rich voice Ms Hunts has.

🎧 This is my favourite book from the series so far. It felt like a slow burn, I liked

🎧 Oh My!!!!!! Love Ms Jayne's accents!!!! Also after two hours, I love it. I love their conversations. As far as performance goes, when she talks with her mother and shuts down because she doesn’t want to be affected by her comments, the subtle coldness in her voice.. chef's kiss.
🎧 The flirtatious banter between the two is what I enjoyed more in this book along with the performance from Ms Jayne.
🎧 I will definitely keep this "Don't set aside your preferences for anyone."
🎧 I don't know if I want to check myself why I can't get enough of romances. Audio books have me twisted. If I listen to more than half an hour at a time, it feels like I am there. Feeling all the feels. I am invested. Logical me, says "shut up, fiction, you are overreacting". But I am here for them. I loved this story. With its good and less good parts. I was having fun for the duration of 9 hours. And then ache. I know there is a happy ending, I know it's fiction.

action slow burn

🎧 I had to listen to the second book. From the first chapter, Sofia Lette's accents is my new favorite thing. I would love a book just with her in those. Dane Anderson's whispers I knew and enjoyed immensely from "The Italian". But here, it caught me off guard. It's not the filth he has to narrate, it's the way. Giuliano is unhinged and when angry, Mr Anderson performing that, is too real, feral. Forget about his Italian accent. You should listen to his Italian (although I am no expert).

🎧 Again, like with the Italian I didn't like one of the characters, mostly the behavior but I liked the performances. This is the equivalent of slow burn but for action. It is slooow and then packed at the end.

I had a good time.

I really needed a male narrator for the male main character.
It was confusing at the beginning. Was she being set up for an interview or a date?
This did not give me the feels. I kept questioning where it was going. I don't want to give spoilers but I kept thinking is he grumpy, gangster, misunderstood? It confused me as to were these characters were suppose to stand or feel, if it makes sense.
