Profoundly Inspirational
Revisado: 12-27-19
This is such a great book for all of us who are facilitators, therapists and coaches who want to both deepen your ability to be effective as well as avoid burn out! Instead of giving sterile formulas of 'how to be a better facilitator or therapist' the book guides you to explore your own unique nature and the hidden gifts of your own natural, organic style. I saw a client right after listening to a section of the book and I came out of the session feeling refreshed and fulfilled rather than tired and drained, even when dealing with trauma and loss. I highly recommend this book!

Radically different, an eye opener
Revisado: 12-27-19
This book is a mind bender. It totally goes beyond all the traditional ways of thinking about groups and conflict and brings in much needed awareness about rank and how rank subtly (and not so subtly) influences our interactions. It shows a way through conflict that is organic and alive versus programmatic and controlled. It is the best handbook I know of for people working with groups and group dynamics. I highly recommend this book.

Historia
Acclaimed author, process-oriented therapist, and earlier Jungian analyst Arnold Mindell teaches us how to find the power to make our own choices and control our own lives. Drawing on his experiences with "witch-doctors" and shamans in Africa, Japan, Russia, and India, Mindell leads us on a "death walk" through our worst fears and deepest emotional crises to wake our inner shaman - which he calls our "dreamingbody." Methods for tapping the wisdom hidden in crises free our own internal sorcery for use in our daily lives. These methods enable us to become whole from within and to avoid the phantoms of unrealistic hopes and desires that limit our lives.

Life Changing
Revisado: 12-27-19
This is one of the most powerful and transformative books I have ever read. It is one of those books that is like a great friend that accompanies me wherever I go. Not literally but in the sense that there are so many sections in this book that keep singing in my head, deep truths that always pop up at the relevant moment. I have recommended it to many of my clients. It is a book that made me feel more at home in my own nature and in this world. It is profound in its depth and illumination. I highly recommend it.
