An inspiring read for those interested in the endeavor of women finding place in literary and philosophical society with the author’s personal story vulnerably and honestly woven through the philosophers she has brought to light. An enjoyable read I will share with my peers. Recommended.

Twice, in my 30 years in New York, I’ve crossed paths with Patti in the street. She looked right into my eyes, gifted me a shy smile, and sweetly said, “Hi”, as if she knew me, both times, several years apart.

This story broke my heart

What is heartbreaking is not only Prince Harry’s story, but that each time I shared that I was spending days listening to his story while I cooked, while I drove, cleaned my house, got ready for bed, and that I was rapt, enjoying Spare very much, that those I shared with were infected with the very same lack of empathy, if not worse, and responded with not very nice responses, if not, mean and hateful, which was disappointing.
I found his story an honest, human story and I wish he, his wife and children peace, and happiness.

It will help one #beabetterhuman whether you are a parent, or not. To listen as an adult, helps place your younger self and perhaps gain a better understanding of yourself in your relationships and then, obviously, this is a great perspective shifter to helping your young adults become better people in their own relationships.
