I love everything about this book series, including the narrator! There’s not a lot I can say without giving things away that I like. I’ve been an audible reader since 2003 maybe and this is one of my favorite series of all time.

It’s gonna be absolute torture, waiting for book 3

One of the things I most liked about this book was that it was not predictable at all. Awesome storyline. I fear to say too much else about this series because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone else. This is definitely a book. I had a hard time putting down.

One of My Favorite Historical Romance Series

I am actually surprised this series hasn’t had more people rating it. Historical romances is my favorite genre and I have returned to the series multiple times to reread it. Unique circumstances and unique characters. One of my favorite reads!

Too vulgar

Favorite book yet in series

I read somewhere that if you are a fan of From Blood and Ash or A Court of Thorns and Roses that you would probably like this series as well, and I completely agree. It keeps getting better. My favorite part about this book is that there is finally an explanation for why Knox is such a jerk! I cannot wait for the next book!

I couldn’t get past chapter 1

I couldn’t get past chapter 1. I can deal with some bulgur talk but this was just way too much for me. I despise the “P” word and the main male character kept using it over and over so I just had to stop. If that word doesn’t bother you like it does me it might be a pretty good story but I won’t be able to find out since I despise that word

I can’t decide which is better the first book or the second book but both were excellent. Looking forward to number three! Just when
you think you can guess the ending the author never fails to surprise you

Ok, I could’ve been a lot better with a different narrator

The only negative thing about the narrator was that she could not do male voices very well at all. I think that made big difference in how much I liked the actual story. The story had the potential to be great but there were some parts that were just too corny or predictable that made it not so great

Loved it!!!!!!!!!

The best books I’ve read in a long time. It’s a lot of information kind of like Game of Thrones, with all the fictional creatures, but so worth it. It had a really good plot and build up of the romance. Excellent!
