Confusing plot

I had a hard time with this one. There were a lot of characters introduced but alot were not explored. I usually love Sara and Will but in this book …. Their relationship seemed really immature and I had to keep reminding myself they are both over thirty.

Good performance story gets a bit lost

I actually really enjoyed the performance with the four different women. The best parts of the book are the interactions between the women.
It started off pretty strong but I think the authors went a bit crazy with trying to add as much as they could; mob, gun fight, hot man, strippers, wolves, dirty lawyers, pollution, money in fur coats, sick kids… the plot suffered from it.

Odd story seemed to be going to many ways and was graphic just to be graphic and not really move the story along. You feel gross listening to it because it involves kids. I wish I had listened to the other reviews as I would have skipped this one.

Don't buy this book unless you want to get endlessly hammered with CHRISTIAN prosletyzing. It could have been a good story without the over-the-top christianity shoved down the readers throat. Save me from the bible thumpers.
I had to give it one star because the software won't let you rate it lower, like -2.

Excellent and Entertaining

This is the most entertaining book I have read. Mr. Follett takes you to the middle ages, you experience life as it might have been. The attention to detail makes the story and the characters very believable and it draws you into life in the middle ages. Thank you very much Mr. Follett for your dedication to your vision. You have crafted a book I could read again and again.
