Such a FUN listen!!!

This book provided the most enjoyable listen ever. Laugh-Out-Loud Funny. Great job by narrator with perfect Dead-Pan Humor Timing. All this inside a manifesto of philosophy to save the world, combined with a brief Quantun Physics For Dummies primer. Hey Dean, if you're starting a cult, sign me up. I'm All-In!!!

Too much "God will do it for you."

Much of this audio's message is to not worry about doing anything, God will do it for you. OK then, I'm returning this audio and God can listen to it for me.

Edit out the children's camp and this would be a solid 5+ rating. That part didn't fit and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable audiobook.

Definately 5 stars, but tough to explain why.

This is a difficult listening experience to describe. I wanted to listen to the entire story without stopping, I was hooked from the beginning, but I can't describe it as enjoyable. The characters came to life and I felt strongly for them, as if I would for people I know. From the start this book felt as strong as The Catcher in the Rye. Be warned that a lot of this book will be objectionable to many (drugs, sex, rape, murder, etc.), which is probably the reason for the bad reviews.

Worth a few listens

This book is full of good advice and life strategies. I specifically enjoyed the section on fitness during my first listen. I also really liked the way the author finished the book with a concise wrap-up of the main topics. I will listen at least once more to deepen my awareness of all the information. I only gave 4 stars for performance because I think all self-development books should be read by the author, and there were at least 2 mispronounced words.

I LOVED THE NARRATION BY DR GREGER

The reviews are overwhelmingly positive for this book, but it seems some people don't like the narration. I suppose they would rather listen to a robotic voice actor who knows nothing about the subject than to get the facts and the emphasis of the inflections of the author. I will choose an author narrated book over a voice actor every time. Great book Dr. Greger, and great narration too!!!

Too much assumption of God

Author assumes there is a God, and also assumes she is able to interpret this God. Which God??? Christian God, Muslim God, Jewish God, Buddhist God, Egyptian God, ..... The author seems to know which God is real and which are BS. Must also have a direct phone line with the real one. Maybe she knew the tooth fairy too???
