Great second book!

I found myself at the beginning of the story thinking, man I wish there was more community around Callie Cassidy, and by the second half of the book that was what was delivered. I think Lori Robert Herbst is continuing to get better in her character development and storyline the further she is going. Can't wait to read book three!

Fun book with smart leading lady

I love a good cozy mystery, but when the main character is smart enough not to go touching everything in the crime scene it makes me excited. This book included some good character development that left me wondering where the author might take the storyline in future books. I have to admit that the narrator for this one wasn't my favorite voice for this character, but there were moments she sold it and moments I wish I was reading it physically instead of listening to it.

This book wasn't extraordinary, but it was okay. It isn't a book I would listen to repeatedly, but the author did a good job developing characters and the narrators did a great job bringing them to life. I thought it was fun that the story was told from both Nick and Noel's perspectives.
