Texas Ranger Ethan Stone and his best friend the Chief of Police investigate the death of a popular and high profile student. At first it appears that the death was either an unfortunate accident or suicide but it soon becomes apparent that they are dealing with murder. More deaths occur and even Ethan's own niece Lexie is targeted as well as her best friend.

As the danger closes in and it appears that their small town has an underground prescription drug ring operating he finds himself drawn to his best friend's sister school teacher Sadie Thompson.

If Ethan can't discover the truth behind the mysterious deaths in his home town then he risks losing those close to him including the woman he is falling for.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this sweet Christian Romantic Suspense.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this Christian romantic suspense featuring one seriously hot Texas Ranger, the detective he falls for and a series of murders to solve in a small town. Add in bullying and domestic abuse and this book has a lot of triggers. You've been warned.

Breaking him out of prison with the help of a former child soldier and his friends is only the beginning. Cindy's thrilling romantic suspense series goes out with one hell of a bang. I will miss Nathan Black and his Boys.

With Rebecca's help, he compiles evidence involving cattle rustling, bribery, and dirty payoffs that shatter the entire community. Working together the two become closer and Brody starts to fall for Rebecca all over again. Brody uncovers a plot for revenge that puts everything on the line. His faith, his love, his life.

Margaret has written another excellent romantic suspense with compelling characters and a hero to die for. Roll on the next book.

Margaret has written a truly emotional romantic thriller which pulls no punches and doesn't attempt to soften the issue of child prostitution. There are no redeemable characters, no good guys gone bad, just the horror of what some people will do for money.

The plot revolves around Beacon of Hope School, its director Kate Winslow and widower Texas Ranger Wyatt Sheridan When teenager Rose goes missing it forces them into a dangerous struggle against a despicable human trafficking organization. The start of a deadly chess game where people become pawns in the battle of good over evil. A battle where Wyatt, Kate and their friends and family will find their faith challenged and along the way our heroes might find a love of a lifetime. If they survive.

I really enjoyed the book although I wasn't too keen on the narrator but fair warning this is not the book for the faint hearted as there are some serious triggers that many readers will find distressing. I'm off to listen to the whole series.

Abbie no longer trusts men but she does love her brother, Cory, and now theres a sexy, mysterious stranger placing a wager at her table. A stranger who will betray her trust and lead her into danger. A stranger whom with his friends will be her destruction or her salvation. When you are in the company of monsters sometimes doing the right thing can get you killed.

Spurred by revenge.... Can love soothe this damaged man. It will be a hell of a ride to find out. So buckle up and enjoy the journey.
