Just when I thought the Eve Dallas books couldn't get any better, Bonded in Death is released. Hope the next one is as good as this one it has set the bar high. Loved learning more about Summerset.

The narrators male voices make it exceedingly difficult to listen to this book. I typically love audio books over reading, but not with this narrator. I will never buy another audio book if she is doing it.

Hoping the series improves....

The narrator made all the men sound like cartoon characters. The story wasn't too bad, but the author continues to have the FBI allow the main character in her stories too much access and too much responsibility for example at Linda Cartwrights farmhouse in Riptide. I am hoping to listen to the whole series but I truthfully don't know if I can get through it unless the narration greatly improves.

I can't believe I listened until the end

The story was mediocre with ridiculous statements and unprofessional behavior coming from a supposedly well respected and highly trained FBI agent. The narrator made everyone sound simple and cartoonish.

I had listened to the first 3 audio books by borrowing from the library and was excited to work my way through the rest of the series through Audible. But there is no way that I can continue to listen to them, especially when I have to buy them. Cristine McMurdo-Wallace did a fantastic job narrating the first 3 books. But Susan Erickson makes them unbearable. She delivers Eve as angry, smart ass, almost yelling every single line, even in bed with Rouke. And Peabody, poor Peabody comes across as a complete idiot. It's too bad, guess I will have to read them instead 🤷🏼♀️
