For those that have suffered grief

I like the story as someone whose lost a significant person fairly recently, I found it funny , frustrating, and mournful. Expectations of other people when you lost someone is trying and this story had some wacky humor tradition thay wars with each other in families. Living life with a plan and those dreams and plans don't work out. In the end there was understanding and revelations neither the aunt or the son knew that brought them together in the happiest place on earth.

I’m sad if this really is the end

Started the series thinking , how different it was from anything I’d read in years. I grew to like it 3rd book in . Now at the end and I’m feeling sad to let it go. The characters , The different plots, i found them to be interesting enough that many of the books I read overnights. The ending brought relationships together in tight red bow, well except two people.
I don’t revisit books after i read them initially , but I might do just that with this one.

Enlightening

I had heard of Jeezy ,but I was not an avid rap listener , but I have seen interviews with him over the years. I observed a interview with GV about 5 yrs ago and they were talking about business and how Jay could tap into real estate. I was so impressed how Jay was listening and hearing the advise GV gave and he included in friends in as asking intelligent questions. I think that when a friend mention to how Jay was seriously in real estate and doing very well. I believe his story and by him narrating the story gave credible depiction of the business in the early 2000 until now. His life is a testament that life trajectories are rarely in straight line but full of zigs and zags to get to where your will and talent can take you.

Love this series

Evan learning you never really run from your past.
MOVING ON .... The story has a little but more humor (very dry humor) in the interactions with Evan and Joey. She is fighting for her women-hood in the shadow of Evan and his overprotective ways. She's dealing with her first relationship and school and Ethan tailing her on dates. As usual the technology aspect of the story was very interesting and the meeting of Joey and Tommy was humorous in a deadly kinda way.
I never imagined some of the war devices were or could be in use now. AI and drones are the future I guess. Evan was so put out when Joey had the fortunate opportunity to met up with his weapons guy for the first time. The bad guys are a sibling team deadly and a crazy handler called the Doctor.
The backstory of Ethans' "mother" was interesting as it unfolded. The emotions Evan was experiencing was heart breaking . The fact that his mom had a secret that Evan could never walk away from was sad.

Another great story

I enjoyed the superb narration by Mr. Brick. As the story continues, we find that X has tapped into the humanity that Jack worked to download into his "son". No spoilers here BUT I will say I was very happy with certain characters and how they grew to trust and the characters who needed to die. Not so much on the gang issue in the book. WE now know who is behind the scheme and X is on the warpath.

I purchased the next installment and I SOOO looking forward to see how the battle continues.

Didn't see that coming

Well it looks like old "violator" AKA Gray Man has embarked on two missions in the story. The main story was stopping a mysterious man heck bent on destroying the western intelligence community. The second mission might be the most dangerous ..no spoilers.... lets just say Gray Man found something he didn't know he wanted and that something is more dangerous to him than any plot or bullet. The ending left me wondering which way the series will go next , but I will wait patiently for the next installment.

The narrator was excellent except for one part I think he forgot the gender of the character which threw me out of the story. Overall and very good listen.

Intriguing Man

You can’t read this book without learning something. Mr Weintraub was candid, funny, emoting in his telling of his life. I loved how each story brings you back to a visual of past that was filled with uncertainty and sometimes great tragedy. Loved his narration .

I thought the characters was likeable. The story seemed rushed at the end. Purchased the Audible version, Greg narration is great as usual.
