Historia
Over the past decade, A Patriot's History of the United States has become the definitive conservative history of our country, correcting the biases of historians and other intellectuals who downplay the greatness of America's patriots. Professors Schweikart and Allen have now revised, updated, and expanded their book, which covers America's long history with an appreciation for the values that made this nation uniquely successful.

Worth a Listen
Revisado: 03-04-25
I purchased this box set in one of those "get two for the price of one credit" deals. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised! The story, and the narration were superb. It was well worth the listen, and I can honestly say that I would pay full price for this series now that I've listened to it. If you choose to purchase it and listen, it will not be a waste of your time nor money.

God Help Us.
Revisado: 12-09-24
The details exposed in this novel will both astound and terrify you equally. In this novel's conclusion it talks about the future of mankind with the weapons we currently possess, and those that are lying around and or missing in russia. God help us when terrorists and/or bad State actors get their hands on those weapons.

Historia
The action in this new novel takes place a few years after his adventures in Castigo Cay, the first Dan Kilmer novel. In The Red Cliffs of Zerhoun, Dan's trading schooner is located in Southwest Ireland, where he is attempting to sell 96 drums of diesel fuel salvaged from an abandoned NATO base in Greenland. The global financial system has collapsed, and both paper and digital currency have no value, but diesel fuel and gold still do.

Historia
Here is the kind of authentically detailed epic novel that has become Louis L’Amour’s hallmark. It is the compelling story of US Air Force major Joe Mack, a man born out of time. When his experimental aircraft is forced down in Russia and he escapes a Soviet prison camp, he must call upon the ancient skills of his Indian forebears to survive the vast Siberian wilderness.

Historia
Every generation, a journalist has looked deep into the heart of the nuclear military establishment: the technologies, the safeguards, the plans, and the risks. These investigations are vital to how we understand the world we really live in—where one nuclear missile will beget one in return, and where the choreography of the world’s end requires massive decisions made on seconds’ notice with information that is only as good as the intelligence we have. Pulitzer Prize finalist Annie Jacobsen’s Nuclear War: A Scenario explores this ticking-clock scenario.

Nightmareish
Revisado: 09-18-24
Do you like peaceful sleep? Do you like living with your head buried in the sand? Then this book is NOT for you. If you want a visceral, detailed, unapologetic look at how humanity will die from nuclear holocaust, then this book is for you! Thank you Annie Jacobsen for giving me such a nuanced and descriptive (hypothetical) look at nuclear oblivion in such grafic way that I have nightmares about how my family and I will die should the a$$holes in power decide to "Push the Button." All kidding aside, this was a phenomenal book, good job Annie.

Historia
Raw, straightforward, and powerful, Ed Kugler's account of his two years as a Marine scout-sniper in Vietnam vividly captures his experiences there - the good, the bad, and the ugly. After enlisting in the Marines at 17, then being wounded in Santo Domingo during the Dominican crisis, Kugler arrived in Vietnam in early 1966. As a new sniper with the 4th Marines, Kugler picked up bush skills while attached to 3d Force Recon Company, and then joined the grunts.

Overall the story was well thought out, will written, and in superb chronological order. Aside from how hunting this story truly is, I must say that the narration was phenomena. I believe this audiobook will be well worth your time to listen to.

Went by too fast!!
Revisado: 06-26-24
This latest installment of The Terminal List was a good read/listen from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but unfortunately it went by SO fast!! It was so engaging that I listened almost nonstop and before I knew it, this installment was over! Now I have to wait years for the next book.
The only negative I have, if you want to call it a negative, is the detailed descriptions of the wines and foods. Mr. Carr, we get it, you've done very well for yourself and can now enjoy the finest wines and foods money and prestige can provide.
But as for me, and my friends that read you work, i.e. the "common folk," we just like to read/listen to the story and the detailed descriptions of tactics, firearms, gear, and violence.
Outside of that one personal preference, the rest of the story, and the superb narration were world class and I eagerly await the next installment.
