Great idea but painful

This book has many good points but it is a painful read. The characters and plot are intriguing, but the heroine is whiny and unbelievable. I spent four hours of the book hoping she would just shut up and get over herself. Just as the book has a hopeful enjoyable ending, the 20 hour read turns out to be a serial novel that ends as an advertisement to buy another long book. This was a completely disappointing read.

The Title Tells All

The narrator was excellent. The story drew you in. Liz was sympathetic. However, the murderer was obvious from the start and the telling of the story became a device to try to hide the obvious.
Listening to this book was painful.

This series is always worth the read. Likable characters, interesting plots. The ideal cozy mystery.
I am ready, however, for Georgie to stop being so insecure. It’s grating. Thus young woman has proven her metal multiple times, and yet, She remains unsure of herself. A real turn off.
