The book is exaggerated to push a feminist point of view. it reads more like a trashy novel with undertones of the evil that men do. pathetic.

Terrible book!

The narration is okay. Everything else in this book is a disaster. The research is extremely limited and makes you wonder if this writer has ever written a biography before. The style of writing is atrocious much like a high school students term paper. I guess if you get paid for this type of writing you're considered a professional but it is some of the worst writing I've ever read.

Memoir of a self-absorbed narcissist.

The memoir is interesting because of the information he provides about other writers and history.

Had I known Isaac Asimov was such a self-absorbed, self-centered, narcissistic egotist I would have never read any of his short stories or books. Actually, I wish I could get my money back.

The pathetic part is that he's proud of being "A legend in his own mind" who continuously thinks he's smarter and better than everyone else.

This memoir makes it clear and obvious that he's little more than an adult child with delusions of grandeur.

This memoir was not even honest about his death which was from HIV related kidney failure.

Great listen.....

Interesting review of the data presenting a viable option to the fate of the USS Scorpion. Long-held suspicions finally brought to light. The book does drag on with useless information design simply to be filler but the essential core presents a much needed theory.

Better than Hemingway....

F Scott Fitzgerald is almost forgotten, buried in the wake of Hemingway mania. This book reminds us he was a great, brilliant writer who created beautiful literature while struggling against fame, mortality and insecurity in his ability. His talent was natural, unpretentious and the envy of writers then and now..

this is a great book, about brave men, who changed the world. the first hand account of this new technology is inspiring. The bravery needed to travel beneath the Arctic ice is remarkable. we owe a lot to these great adventures
