An approachable and accessible way to understand the loneliness epidemic in our culture
Revisado: 07-09-24
The Path Out of Loneliness concisely expresses how to begin the journey out of loneliness and isolation and clarifies that the Biblical model of relationship/ redemption is the decisive answer to this problem. It also highlights the beauty and honor of our God- given role in the church to address this problem.
I just ordered a physical copy from Amazon so I can read this with my teens children for this coming school year. This book is an approachable and accessible way to understand the loneliness epidemic in our culture!

Historia
At one time, Corrie ten Boom would have laughed at the idea that she had a story to tell. For the first 50 years of her life, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to her. She was a spinster watchmaker living contentedly with her sister and their elderly father in the tiny house over their shop in Haarlem. Their uneventful days, as regulated as their own watches, revolved around their abiding love for one another. But with the Nazi invasion and occupation of Holland, everything changed....

Inspiring, encouraging, eye-opening real story
Revisado: 10-08-23
The book was amazing. I feel as if I know Corrie now. The person who read the book made me feel as if I were hearing Corrie and Betsy talk and think. I could feel the cells and see the coldness in the Nazi's faces. I could feel God's overwhelming love and grace. I feel closer to God more than ever now, and I will never be the same after this book. This story of God and his majesty has made me stronger and more faithful and in awe of him. Thank you, Corrie.

JBP stands up to the hype.

I read a comment on one of Dr. Peterson's You Tube videos that said something along the lines of "Dr. Peterson cares more for me than anyone ever has."
That may be an overstatement, but not by much.
Dr. Peterson's book tells the truth, with kindness, in a way that will help you set your life as right as you are able. If you are willing to listen to him and apply these concepts to your life, you cannot help but change for the better.
Take a good look at your life, your mind, and your current way of doing things. Is it possible there is a better way? Dr. Peterson is not God, does not claim to be, but anyone with awareness can tell that he truly loves people and does his best to help us all find a better way.
Read the book! You will not regret it!
