I am really enjoying this series ... it is not Jane Austen, it is just fun laughable fiction where you get to know the characters because of the series format. If you want to just enjoy a fun book with adorable characters with a mystery. Start this series. I would recommend you start from the beginning.

I have read all three of these books in this series this book introduces the pioneer women and their courage in settling the west. Just enough accurate history of the Kansas troubles to really keep one interested.

Very interesting story with great narration

This was a interesting book with a fun turn on a tragedy that happens very early in the story. It could have been a dark story but ends up not being so.
The narrator in this story is spectacular. I have read a few books narrated by her and I think she really has a gift for making the characters come alive. I now look for books narrated by her.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fallen Angels?
I was surprised that earnie was involved at the murder scene. I did not expect to find him in the house.

Yes . This narrator has the gift of becoming her characters. Excellent, as are all the books I have listened to by her.

This is a fun series . Well written good historical accuracy of the 1920s.

Wonderful love story

What made the experience of listening to Yesterday the most enjoyable?
The narration by Darlene Allen was spectacular. This narrator becomes the characters and you can visualize the characters by the voice that she uses.
What did you like best about this story?
The historical fiction. Civil war era. I enjoyed the reincarnation segments. They were done appropriately and in good taste. This writer handled this very well. The flow of the story from present day to reincarnation travel is done very well.
Have you listened to any of Darlene Allen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. Every book I listen to by this narrator is excellent! It is hard to compare one excellent narration to another excellent narration. I can visualize Mary because of the narration.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I would have sat and listened in all one setting if I could have. I carried my phone or iPad all over with me so I could continue with the story.

Great book, well written, excellent narration. I am going to look for other books by this author and narrator.
