Global Power Unveiled
Revisado: 04-04-24
"Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins is a masterclass in dissecting the intricate interplay between global economics, politics, and power dynamics. Perkins meticulously unveils the covert strategies employed by economic operatives to manipulate and exploit developing nations, shedding light on the shadowy mechanisms that perpetuate inequality and serve vested interests.
What distinguishes this book is Perkins' ability to distill complex geopolitical phenomena into accessible narratives without compromising on depth or accuracy. His firsthand accounts offer unparalleled insight into the inner workings of a system designed to consolidate wealth and influence at the expense of entire populations.
While Perkins' narrative is compelling in its own right, it's essential to acknowledge the broader context beyond the pages of the book. Hidden circles of power within the tripartite state exert considerable control over global affairs, shaping policies and outcomes to suit their agendas. Although this aspect may not be explicitly addressed in Perkins' work, it's a critical dimension to consider when comprehensively analyzing global power dynamics.
In essence, "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" is not just a book; it's a paradigm-shifting exploration of the forces that shape our world. Whether you're an academic scholar or an informed citizen, this book offers invaluable insights that challenge conventional wisdom and prompt deeper reflection on the nature of power and influence in our society.

Historia
To trace the evolution of the American state, Aaron Good takes a deep-politics approach. The term “deep state” was badly misappropriated during the Trump era. In the simplest sense, it here refers to all those institutions that collectively exercise undemocratic power over state and society. To trace how we arrived at this point, American Exception explores various deep state institutions and history-making interventions.

Suddenly, the modern world makes sense and you can see how the game is rigged against you.
Revisado: 02-21-24
Aaron Good's "American Exception" is a groundbreaking exploration into the intricate mechanisms underlying the breakdown of US democracy. With unparalleled depth and clarity, Good unravels the complexities of American foreign policy, the erosion of the rule of law, and the alarming concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a corporate elite.
What sets this book apart is its fearless examination of the deep political forces shaping American governance. Good's deep politics approach peels back the layers of "mainstream" discourse to reveal the hidden collusion and law-breaking inherent in the American state. From the covert empire-building after World War II to the pretext of the "Global Communist Conspiracy," Good exposes the relentless pursuit of global dominance by US elites, often at the expense of democratic principles.
"American Exception" meticulously traces the evolution of a tripartite state system, where the democratic state and the authoritarian security state are overshadowed by an insidious deep state. Through insightful analysis of deep state institutions and history-making interventions, such as foreign government coups and political assassinations, Good sheds light on the shadowy interplay between the corporate elite, organized crime, and national security actors.
Despite the daunting challenges presented, "American Exception" offers a glimmer of hope by evaluating the prospects for a revival of US democracy. Good's rigorous research and compelling narrative serve as a beacon for those seeking to understand and confront the forces undermining democratic ideals.
In conclusion, "American Exception" is an essential read for anyone concerned about the future of democracy in America. Aaron Good's bold insights and thought-provoking analysis make it a vital contribution to the discourse on American politics and power dynamics.

Ties so much together
Revisado: 06-25-23
Just about everything in the book makes sense to me and lines up with everything else I’ve read with regards to the subjects covered. The only thing that was very new to me that I’m still not so sure about, as this is the first time I’ve ever heard it mentioned before, is that Oswald might’ve been under MK ULTRA to some extent. I found it a little bit hard to believe, but certainly not out of the question. Great book, great read! I also found the comments about James Jesus Angleton and his mole hunt as a cover story, to be very illuminating. That was something I had never considered before. I need to do some more reading about him as well now.

An American Horror Story
Revisado: 01-07-23
A tragic tale of unchecked power, which helps to explain so much about the military industrial media complex that exists and controls the United States today. This book gives you so much insight into the deep state and those hidden threads of power that exist and control everything that happens today. This book can be a depressing read as you begin to see how much this corrosive organization has ruined democracy in this country.

French philosopher Jean Paul Sartre said that "words are loaded pistols". In the hands of Russ Baker, they are hydrogen bombs. On each and every page of his masterpiece, Family of Secrets, he explodes the myths and lies that powerful forces have perpetrated on the American consciousness. He digs beneath the surface in a form of journalistic archeology to reveal the hidden history of one of America's most powerful families, leaving no stone unturned.

An excellent overview of who really controls the power in the country (hint: it’s not the American people)
Revisado: 10-17-22
This well written and detailed factual account of how one family with long ties to the intelligence community, are the ones actually in control of America. Russ Baker does a great job of revealing connections to JFK, RFK, MLK and just about every Deep Event since 1963 open to interpretation of the reader all the while doing so without getting bogged down in details already long covered by other well respected investigative journalists. He also points out that we must always beware of those in power that wish to suspend the constitution under the guise of national security. We stand to lose what little rights and freedoms we still have if they are taken away due to Continuity of Government, enacted during a national emergency.
To this very day, the Bush family and their enablers within the Deep State are in control of this country and are fleecing the American people. This book is a fantastic approach that walks the reader through the journey that shows how this was possible in just the span of a very short one hundred years.
I will be sharing this book with my friends and family. I suggest as you do as well, once you are finished with it. If nothing else, a true patriot and red blooded American would do right by our founding fathers in standing up to tyranny just like we did in 1776.
