Another great story
Revisado: 03-31-24
The performance is exceptional and great acting. I love reading/ listening to the stories by Pam Janoff. I have personal knowledge of the resistance movements in Europe during the Second World War. My father's cousins were SOE operatives in Italy. All of them are heroes. May they rest in peace.

Maybe I am not to young to appreciate older Radio theater. I have enjoyed many preserved productions over the years. This is in the tradition of those historic performances but only better ....much better.
My applause to Fresh Produce productions and Jon Hamm and the rest of the cast. WONDERFUL!!!, please do more.

It brings back childhood memories. The History of Cuba is a tragedy. It is a story that Shakespeare could write more masterpieces.

I loved Quaid' s performance ....BUT
Revisado: 07-27-18
Quaid' s voice could not cross over to female characters. This book is so good it needed more actresses to perform the essential female characters.
Also , the president's speech at the end was a bit too long even though I agree with everything he said.

Revisado: 06-07-17
I stopped watching the TV series. I wanted to go deeper into the mindset of Claire's living in two worlds. I particularly enjoyed the brother Anselm' s explanation of cause and effect. Porter's mastery of accents and voices makes for a fabulous performance.
