I absolutely love Abby Craden as a narrator! This performance was no different.
Jen Lyon!!! Thank you for this. I am a mental health professional and I thoroughly appreciate the mental health themes of this book.
I also enjoy reading names from the Senators Wife series, namely Sam. She’s freaking awesome!
My only disappointment…I have to wait for the next book!

This story was fun. It was somewhat predictable, but nothing to complain about. That’s why we read romance books, right?
The narrator was “ok”. I like her voice, however if you take even a small break it’s hard to go back and listen to because the narrator doesn’t change her tone for different characters. If she would do this I would be more inclined to listen to more of her work.

Another great Georgia Beers Story

I am a huge Georgia Beers fan and this one was as always a good one.
However…I struggled to not return it based on the narrator’s voice. Wow, it was horrible and the very obvious trying to change to a male voice was rough. A good narrator will seamlessly make the transition between characters and this one didn’t. I don’t like being such a tough critic, I just expected more from a Georgia Beers book. I’ll be skipping her books with this narrator in the future. :(

This has been my favorite Robin Alexander book so far! I loved the story line and the interactions with grandma with the “inappropriate” words had me laughing so much. I never write reviews but this has seriously kept me engaged and laughing.

Very wordy

I was willing to give this book a try, even with the 16+ hour timeframe. But, I had to stop after a few chapters because the detail is OVERBOARD! Like detailing how the napkin was taken on and off the cornbread to keep it warm.
I like the description of the book but I just can’t devote that much time to a book that makes me want to pull my hair out.
