Historia
Jack Diller is just one more struggling actor on the road to nowhere. He’s got an agent who barely remembers his name, his ex-girlfriend has hooked up with a Silicon Valley dude, and the milk in his fridge is so far past its sell-by date it’s historic. The only way Jack can scrape together a bare existence is by delivering food to exactly the types of successful people he wishes he could be. Then, one day, a very strange audiobook shows up on his phone.

Great humorous listen
Revisado: 06-28-22
Wheaton and Pearlman was on paper a interesting choice but the production is great. The author does a great job with how we need to work to achieve what we want as well as how one can fall into self pitty.
With a listen, give it a try.

Not my cup of tea
Revisado: 06-28-22
Voice actor did a wonderful job and is who kept me engaged.
The book may have a predecessor or prequel that I am unaware of; however the author asks a lot from their audience to jump to and accept.
A initial chapter or description about the state of the world and/or jobs would have made me feel more engaged with their story.

Such a wonderful story
Revisado: 04-24-22
This story has quickly become one of my favorites and am going to listen to it again.
The writing style of the authors, in depth understanding of war, way we people cope etc is exceptionally done. The quick way they build repour with you and the characters is masterfully done. You can understand/feel the emotions of the characters and when it is over you too may want to look for other books they have done.
The narrator is quite skilled and his vocal inflection draws you in at key points.
Definately worth the listen.

Historia
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

Very Enjoyable
Revisado: 04-04-22
The performance and voice articulation of the narrator is very well done. He makes the book come to life and gives each of the Bob's their own uniqueness through sound.
The series is enjoyable though can leave you feeling a bit underwhelmed at points or that some hooks were quickly brought to close without a full exploration.
Overall though the book and series is quite enjoyable and well worth the listen/read.

wonderful book to listen too, the pace is good the way people see one another and make assumptions is greatly defined. it took a while to get use to with the chapter/person style but very happy to have it.

Great Material but way too fast of a narration
Revisado: 01-06-21
The author helps the beginner understand the material well and what is necessary of them; however at 1x speed the narrator had me rewinding multiple times to fully understand. at .70 to .75 speed it was much better.
I will re listen to the material as it is a short audio book overall.

Historia
I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

Fun listen
Revisado: 08-01-19
The method of using email to tell a story for the book was interesting, and not something I have experience before. I would have enjoyed more without the subject line regarding (re:) statements during the narration as it broke the immersion of the story. This is better left for the written form of the book where the email formats can be viewed.
That said, the story and characters were enjoyable. Integration of Tesla, sci-fi, a bit of fantasy with BoBo (awesome character) and the narrator / authors love of the work made the story come to life.
The book allows the listener to think of the possibilities that are or could have been while listening and once over.
Well worth a few hours of your time and the money.

How would you like to bust your hump for a large corporation 60-plus hours a week without a wage or a single day off for the vague promise of some mysterious perks in the distant future? You'd refuse point blank, wouldn't you? But what if the job in question was playing a state-of-the-art fantasy MMORPG game? And what if this was the only thing you're really good at? Especially considering that your in-game partner is someone really special to you - and this person already lives a virtual life?

Outstanding
Revisado: 04-23-19
This was the first type of book that I listened too in this genre. I was a fan of RPGs and MMOs when younger and with the added VR emersion element the book brought a fantasy of my youth to life.
The characters are wonderful and voice narration is splendid and I have listened to the whole series now as well as delved into other VR MMO audio books nothing quite as unique and wonderful as this however.
If you only have a credit or two or can't make up your mind about the type of book to get give this a try you will be pleasantly surprised.
