Eui and Kaede story
Revisado: 04-16-25
This time the story is mainly about Kaede conquering her country from her tyranical father while the beginning involve Eui facing her past.
There of course lots of cultivation and retrospection and defying heaven involve. I had a wonderful time, love the delivery from the narrator that bring to life the writing. The story continue to be a satisfying story of unity and and always striving for improvement despite any obstacle.
Can't wait for the last volume.

Fun but short magical girl with time loop cliff hanger
Revisado: 04-16-25
The first book was dissapointing for being short and having lot of exposition. This time it just short, but it was fun for the short time I listen. The character are likable and the world is interesting enough to have my attention. I just hate that the time loop aspect is just use as an excuse for cliffhanger. But still a fun enough time.

Historia
The City of Inventions, Pallass, is a fascinating place. Erin Solstice is on a break from her inn. Not for long; she's returning with more Skills, but she has changed. She will return with her usual chaos and wonder, but always differently. Now, there are flames and... a garden?

Love everything in the Inn and Palace, King not so much.
Revisado: 04-08-25
I had a fun abd easy time listening. The wyvern attack, Erin figuring out her skill and the set up were all exciting and fun. Then the King chapter came up and remind me of what I dislike about the series. If it was one or two chapter, it be fine but it wasn't. King take the last 8 hour or so and I just didn't care. It feel like an extra book was shove into the story. It sometime feel like the author want to create spin off but instead shove it in the Wandering Inn. I am just glad that at least Gravesong series is its own thing instead of also being shove into the Wandering Inn.
But aside from the last 8 hour of chore, I had a great time and can't wait for more but also dreading more hours and hours of other country side characters.

Its not funny but its Bobby
Revisado: 03-27-25
Is alright, not usually into sco-fi but the concept sounded fun and I thought it be a comedic sci-fi. Its not and the narrator is just alright. That being said, some of the world building is sadly believable and there some interesting concept going on. My favorite is just the Bobs all diverging and how they interact.
A fun concept, okay execution but a bit dry at time.

A coup full of stress and just a bit of coziness
Revisado: 03-25-25
I be honest, not my favorite of the series. The other two book are a wonderful cozy story with two wonderful character in a magical and inclusive world. This story had less coziness as it just mainly about how to overthrow the Queen, which honestly was a bit boring in the beginning. The family drama and theology was more interesting than the coup itself, with the murder investigation being done by side characters off screen.
The second half I start getting into it as they have a more concrete plan on how they will overthrow the queen. The character are still wonderful as ever and who could hate on baby dragons. Add the narrator doing a wonderful job, its hard to say I did not enjoy the story. I just hope for some more coziness or at the very least more fun and adventure like the second book for the sequel.

More entertaining journey of the lovable cat and rat girl defying heaven
Revisado: 02-27-25
The book where Jia and Eui finally enter the tomb as they try to get the sovereign tear and try to save the world. The first half was alright, but it really gets rolling in the second half. Being exciting, full of wonderful new characters and getting the audience supporting the main character all the way through their struggle.
My only minor complaint is Heian voice sound the same as a teenager. But aside from that, wonderful narration as always.

The ninth floor. Nine armies, each led by rich and powerful aliens from across the galaxy. Each team has one objective: to capture and hold the castle at the very center of the battlefield. Strategy, alliances, pitched battles, and, of course, betrayal ... It all makes for great fun and even greater television. After all, none of these powerful aliens really die when they’re playing war. Except this time. This time, winner takes all. Those who fall, stay in the ground.

An epic chaotic fun and bit convuluted
Revisado: 02-22-25
One of the most anticipated book and for the most part it deliver, although maybe not as spectacular to the hunting ground in my opinion. There was lot of set up, sub plot, and characters that the main focus, the war, felt like it got less attention.
Don't get me wrong the narration is amazing as always, great character moments, satisfying death, great satire and themes, and just overall everything one love about the series. That being said, with how build up the war was, it did get sideline a bit which is a bit of a shame. But that just me saying instead of being the best thing ever, its instead just amazing. Cannot wait for the next book.

Great narration and character with a so-so story
Revisado: 02-17-25
Love the narration and character and action. That being said, hated the Towers characters. They supposed to feel like mentor to Elania, but are either hard on her, annoying, touchy or want to rape her. I mean there some small moment, but I could not buy their trust in each other when fighting together at the end. The pacing was also slow down, turning more to a leadership and rebuilding story for most of the book. Instead of a fast pace power fantasy, it was slow down by bureaucracy.
Wasn't as fun power fantasy as the other two book and only able to keep listening due to liking the main character and her love interest.

Revisado: 02-13-25
The second book manage to have cute relationship, bad ass and life and death battles, and not much else. The world isn't explore as much and there nothing that stand out. But the male narrator actually has more range this time, as well as the female narrator being great. Its overall entertaining enough of a listen.

Generic story, but well executed
Revisado: 02-11-25
This is a lit rpg story involving a college girl being transported to another world in an underground dungeon society. Its a power fantasy that is somewhat generic but the character are likable and everything was done very solidly. Add the wonderful performance with two voice narrator, this was a solid listen. Granted, the male narrator does not have the best range.
Not a story that stand out particularly, but a welcome experience.
