The story was pretty good but the female narrator made me not want to finish it. She emphasized/extended the last word in every sentence. Drove me nuts!

I don’t usually write reviews but if I can save one person from this story then my time is not wasted. Seems like the storyline is more of a junior high scene but with lots of sex and drugs. It really is one of the worst books I have listened to and I go through 2-3 books a week. Save your credit!

Don’t waste a credit on this book, I love Mary Burton but this one missed the mark and the narration was awful. It sounded like the narrator was reciting a fix it manual and you couldn’t tell when she went from one character to the other.

Do NOT waste your time with this book. The narrator sounds like she is in middle school for every character and reads it like a text book. The story was weak, I made it 2 hours before I couldn’t take it any more. Definitely exchanging this trash.

I can’t understand how this book received any positive reviews, it was awful. The narrator was excellent, the story line pathetic. I can’t believe the main character Julia was so stupid! Then the story would randomly go off on some random internal dialogue in the middle of what was supposed to be “suspenseful”. I almost stopped listening a few times but thought that it may get better, wrong! Believe me, your IQ will drop after subjecting yourself to it.

Wanted to throat punch the narrator!

I listen to almost 3 audio books a week and to me the narrator either makes or breaks the book. When a character was stressed Christa got all breathless and over the top annoying. Unfortunately there was a lot of stressful situations. Save your credit!
