Good Mysteries
Revisado: 12-03-19
The stories were good with intriguing mysteries. The female characters were a bit whiny while proclaiming what strong women they were. The narrator does a horrible job with the male voices. They either sound like they have a three pack a day smoking habit, or they are gangsters from the 1940s.

Absolutely Hated This Book
Revisado: 07-24-16
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
This book began slow, and finished even slower. The only action in the book was over in about 10 minutes. The two main characters were too stupid, selfish, immature and self absorbed to live.
Has A Discovery of Witches turned you off from other books in this genre?
I enjoy the paranormal genre, but I will never get another book by this author.
Have you listened to any of Jennifer Ikeda’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Jennifer Ikeda's performance was the only good aspect of this book.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
No.

Weak and Whiny Female Character
Revisado: 12-23-15
What disappointed you about Bengal's Quest?
I normally love Lora Leigh's books, but as others have said, this one was not even close to her usual standards. The heroine, if you can call her that, was constantly whining and behaving like a spoiled brat. She behaved very stupidly for someone who knew they were being hunted.
The ending of the book was just strange, almost like the author couldn't figure out how to end the mess that she created of this book, so she just let the whiny heroine have an epiphany of omniscience by looking into her mate's mind and seeing everything that had happened over 13 years, and seeing all of his plans and schemes, both past and present.
Also as another reviewer stated, it seems that the author used explicit sex scenes as filler instead of using them to enhance the story.
Lora Leigh added some interesting new elements to the breed story, and I look forward to seeing more of those characters in future books. I only hope that she quits making weak female characters.
What could Lora Leigh have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Made the female character strong and worthy of the strong male character.
What three words best describe Brianna Bronte’s voice?
Ok, not great.
What character would you cut from Bengal's Quest?
I would keep all the characters, but modify the personality of the main female character.
