From New York Times best-selling author Melanie Moreland comes a story of finding love, acceptance, and happiness when you least expect it. Mila Morrison prefers the silent company of her keyboard to that of people. She lives vicariously through the characters she creates.

Another Great ABC addition!

What can I say? Melanie did it again! Love how we get snippets of Sammy’s story through out (since SS&S was the first book in the series I fell in love with!) Nick and Mila were adorable and had a great story. Sad that this is the last book :(

Historia
Two neighbors - strangers - with one thing in common: they share a fence. But is that the only thing they share? Nathan Fraser lives a solitary life, never letting anyone get too close. It's safer that way. Kourtney Whyte hides from the world and behind her work, too afraid to really live her life to the fullest. Rejection is what she knows best. But one night, the sound of her soft voice and the tantalizing aroma of her evening meal prove too enticing for Nathan to ignore.

Oh the nostalgia…
Revisado: 10-08-22
I may be a little bias since I remember reading the original version as a *cough cough* twific, but it hits as hard as the first time I found it online. My favorite part will always be the mirror chapter. It hit me then and it hits me now. With saying that, I love this updated version and the characters. If you’re looking from a sweet romcom that hits the spot, then this is the book for you.

Historia
The sound of the ocean, the crash of the waves as they kick up against the sand and rocks - these are the only sounds Megan Greene wants to hear. She wants to leave the rest of the world behind and find some peace. The offer of a private house on the beach, set in a small town in Maine, is perfect. Time to think - to be by herself. It's all she wants. It's the escape she needs. Until she stumbles across the painting that seems to echo her own chaotic mindset. Until she meets the unfriendly artist behind the stormy painting and discovers his secrets.

One of my Go-To’s
Revisado: 10-08-22
I really enjoy this book and it’s one of my favorites to listen to. I love the ending, and think MM did a wonderful job of writing it. The main characters are both flawed people with baggage, but work through it together. I also love where the story takes place! You can almost hear the waves and see the sea from the descriptions!

Pretty Good!
Revisado: 07-29-20
I was expecting poems like the monologues from Ride and National Anthem, but this fell short. Sometimes the background music was too loud, but like always LDR astounds and captivates with her words and will paint pictures in your mind that’ll remind you of more nostalgic time. I personally really loved it and it inspired me to paint some of the scenes she described. Beautiful, artistic, calming. Good Job, Lana
