Beautiful Story
Revisado: 08-14-24
The main characters in this story have a variety of strong personalities. They combine & clash as in real life. The ending was excellent. It exemplified the bravery and determination of the characters to remain true to themselves. The narration surprised me, but as the book progressed, I loved it! As you can see, I don't believe in spoilers. Listen yourself, it's a great book!

Great entertainment
Revisado: 05-30-24
The Onxy Door was just as enchanting as the Crimson Inkwell and The Silver Currant. It is so much more than a tidy wrap up of Luella Winthrop's adventures. It continued the story with lessons on love, friendship, trust and courage imbedded within. I would suggest that if you only have time to indulge in one pleasurable read - make it The Gaslight Trinkets Triliogy. Kenneth A Baldwin is a gifted writer. And Naomi Rose-Mock is a superb storyteller.

Historia
Magical illnesses require magical cures, and time is running out. It's been months since I left my hometown. I'd never traveled outside its wall before. It seems like only yesterday that my biggest concern was writing my next hit article. Now, I'm running from the police and desperately searching for the only man who may know how to cure me of a magical ailment. I'm not alone, but I can feel the patience and energy of the man by my side diminish day by day. It's hard to persuade him that I'm spending all my time looking for another man so I can be whole for him.

Wildly creative and thoroughly entertaining
Revisado: 04-22-24
Kenneth A. Baldwin is a master storyteller. This second book of Luella Winthrop's escapades is just as full of unpredictable twists and turns as the first. As soon as Luella seems to be untangling one disaster she has landed in, she finds herself completely unraveling in another. All the supporting chatacters in the story are as full of life as she is. Naomi Rose-Mock is the perfect narrator for this saga. She seemlessly flows into each character without hesitation and enhances the story. I wonder if the final installment will answer all the riddles or leave us guessing once again!

Historia
Magic exists where we cannot see. It lives in unexplained phenomena, in attraction to strangers, in a pen and crimson inkwell, from a trunk, in a tent, at a fair, in the fog...The Crimson Inkwell is a story about journalist Luella Winthrop. In her journey to become Dawnhurst-on-Severn's most acclaimed writer, she discovers that her city houses dark, magical secrets too uncomfortable to believe.

OUTSTANDING
Revisado: 03-27-24
Kenneth A Baldwin has prduced a wildly exciting saga of the Victorian Era. In The Crimson Inkwell he seamlessly takes you from one fast-paced adventure to the next withou a pause to catch your breath. You will find yourself hoping one character triumphs - only to think of them as the dasterdly villian in the next chapter! But one think for sure...at the end of this book, you'll be asking, "Wait! What happened next?"

Real & gritty
Revisado: 08-11-19
This is a raw gripping story describing the fate of too many children left to suffer the consequences of the mistakes of their parent and the corruption of the powerful. If you need a feel-good happily ever after, read, find something else. But if your interested in a even-paced, well written and narrated glimpse of life in the back roads country, you'll be glad you grabbed this one.
