Excellent Performance and Wonderful Book

The storyline was not as predictable as I originally thought. The performance was fantastic. The woman's words were read by a woman and the men's words read by a man. It was a fun book! What would you do if you could go back 5 years in your life and change a bad decision with someone you loved so much?
Give this a listen and see I potential option.

powerful book from the vantage point of a combat nurse in Vietnam

The story was powerful, thought provoking, and I cried a few times at what these vets went through during the war and after they got home. I was born in 1967 and did not know much about the Vietnam War other than in history classes and NOTHING about what the vets went through other than in Hollywood movies. I get it now. My heart goes out to the Vets and the families of those who had a lost a loved one in Vietnam.
The reader was EXCELLENT and brought this book to life!
I highly recommend!!

Fascinating Story from. WWII Paratrooper POW

I thoroughly enjoyed the speaker of this story! it brought the book to life for me in my head. what an extraordinary tail this soldier went through and made it back home alive in one piece! it was a really interesting perspective from what he experienced being trained, deployed, and captured as a POW. I highly recommend!

A Perspective I Never Knew About

Loved it! I did not spend a whole lot of time reading (or via audio book) this period in history outside the brief lessons in high school. I now have a new understanding of those who lived before, during, and after WWII. What the nation went through during those times. That was accentuated with the added audio tapes recorded, which are inserted in this audio book.
The read presentation by Martin Sheen was excellent!

Excellent book, excellent performance

It pulled me in from start to finish! I really enjoyed the narrator and his presentation of the story. It was unlike any other book I have chosen before but the same lawyer drama. I can see why John Grisham wrote the forward. This book will not disappoint l, in my opinion.
