Historia
Addiction is a black hole that threatens to engulf our entire society. In the US alone, over 100 million people are addicted, and according to the World Health Organization, over 3.3 million people die from alcohol related deaths alone each year. Billions of dollars spent on prevention and treatment have yet to slow the ever-rising rate of addiction-related deaths. The current models have failed.

I was really mainly responding to another reviw (H Shaw something) who doesn't know at what the fuck he's talking about ("most people stop or slow down their adictive behavior and stop going to 12 step programs - Shaw, shut up that kind of talk can KILL you idiot) obviously you know nothing about death in the rooms. Some addictions With 12 steps programs we can arrest, but the Author is referring to how we look for other Addictions, and how 12 stesp programs although very god only help stop the seeking of the addiction (Symptoms) but doesn't address the CAUSES. So we keep looking for another fix. I've sen EXACTLY what the Authro is talking about many mnay times over and over for decades. She's on to something.
