I thought it was a joke when the call came in to my cellphone. A sexy female voice requesting to hire me as a date for a wedding. I didn’t know whether to laugh or be angry. I’m an investment banker not a “hunk for hire.” The longer she talked, the more intrigued I became. The next thing I knew I was dressed in a suit and going to a wedding. What could be the harm in playing along? Just this one time.
