I thought this was great story usually I get bored in a series of the same thing for multiple episodes but this was well written and the heart the mothers all shared and bleed drew me in kept it real and I couldn’t skip it!

I was excited I loved the first in the series however this book lost me, I understand the main character is a smart Alec who has a ids sense of humor but this was just random wanderings of a strange mind it didn’t seem cohesive . Not a fan sorry

Cole does it again !!!!

She does it again kresley Cole knocks another one out of the park with this latest book in the IAD series . I love that her female characters are always smart and witty and never need that something so bad that they will cave to any request. Jo is an awesome addition to her cast of bad ass females and Rune regardless of his wandering ways is a great match in this battle of wills!
The only thing I am sad about after finishing this book is I have to wait another year for the next addition to the masterful series!!

But I will be rereading them all while I wait!

Kudos to Robert petkoff for another stunning performance his voices and even his tambour make this series even better in audio!! Five stars all around

No whipping involved to love this book

Where does The Master rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I honestly can say that this book is in the top of my favorites. I have about 250 audio books and this stands in the top 15 easy!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cat is amazing in this book so not your normal "female" in a romance genre book. I also fell in a little bit of love with Jess.

Which character – as performed by Kimberly Alexis – was your favorite?

Jess is hilarious but still have to say Cat was the game changer in this book for me

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed like mad woman just hearing some of the things that came out of the females mouths. I think the talk between Cat and Jess was EPIC and a life changer.

Any additional comments?

Kresley Cole Is an outstanding author she never does anything half way which i find refreshing, Each and every character she writes into her stories has a full back story or at least enough that you dont feel like you are missing out on anything. I believe that she is possibly my favorite author for romance stories that aren't the typical boring he loves me or he loves me not nonsense she goes at it with a hammer if being subtle doesn't work which i just adore.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I actually would. I have been an avid fan of the series even though i have found a few of these books daunting and have been tempted to skip through chapters but this book actually drew me in, the characters were a bit more in depth and enjoyable.

What other book might you compare Darkness to and why?

I think the closest to the type of book is Fury he wants to not want her but it is impossible

Which scene was your favorite?

The best scene i feel was when the Heroine pretty much pulls a gun on the agents and doesn't cower or when she starts with a Bomb blast like its a typical Tuesday.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It really was i only took two days to listen to the whole thing which is pretty quick for me. I didn't want to drag it out the last two hours were pressing i wanted to skip a bit in the middle but other than that it was intriguing

Any additional comments?

I think the author is stepping up her game, the characters are becoming more in depth and i am hoping she keeps it up. I want her to bring in Breezes story and hopefully Trey with a gift because i think that will really add something to the mix that is different than the alpha male species book.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Honestly this book was SOOOO not for me, Lena was such a whiny crying woman it was torture to listen to. If you don't have a problem with the crazy stalker type of woman it might be for you but honestly i could not get into this .

What could Kylie Scott have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Honestly Lena needed a backbone.

MOST OF THEM LENA was just to NEEDY.

I really liked the series at the start but This book just killed it for me, Lena was just a buzz kill.

The story line in this book is amazing. The writer didn't skimp on anything there was past present and Future, it didn't leave you wondering how it would all work out in the end.

What made the experience of listening to City of Fallen Angels the most enjoyable?

The book was generally good, the cast is the same not to many new characters introduced to distract from the plot line.

What was one of the most memorable moments of City of Fallen Angels?

The most memorable is always Jace and Simons interactions, they pretty much make the books.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narration is HORRIBLE. The voices do not go with the characters at ALL. The words are not even pronounced the same as they have been through the other four books of the series, it is a distraction and with the accents the narrators have it makes it hard to understand.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I enjoyed the book in general, would like to have a better finality of the last scene but all in all it was entertaining.

If you can get over the narration the book is a good listen.
