Expected more from the view of Christian

I expected more depth in the story of Christian, his point of view. It was a disappointment because it was the same story line as that of Anastasia with just Christian talking. Ms. James didn't give enough justice to the supposed story of the pains and dark world of Christian.

Good story, not so good performance

The story didn't have your typical plot. While listening to it you'll actually start thinking as well how you'd feel if you are missing the last X number of years of your life... I don't want to put spoilers in this.
Good story (although you'll hear the word "presumptuous" a lot of times in this book).
I just got confused with the way the narrator had her different voices for the characters because it wasn't really different... It was just the same voice and no distinction. Would have wanted a better narrator.

Better than The Selection Book 1

Plot and way it's written is better than Book 1 The Selection. This had more depth into the story and gave the characters depth as well.

Nostalgic

While listening to this story you will definitely go back in time. You'll remember how you felt when you loved the first time. How you felt when you were growing up and being judged by the world. How you felt when you touched the very first person you loved. How you felt when your heart got broken the first time. Then you realized that eventually life will go on no matter what happens. You'll remember all the struggles you had when growing up.
This book will let you remember all those feelings as if it were all happening again.

What did you love best about Flat-Out Love?

Good story with an equally good storyteller. It's my first time to write a review and I felt obligated to share to the other readers what a good book this is to purchase. Others might find the story too romantic but I think sometimes, in this kind of world, each one of us needs a little love story that will make us laugh, cry, mad and fall in love all at the same time.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I was torn while listening to the book... Torn because I definitely wanted to finish it in one sitting but wanted to linger on so the story telling won't stop. This book will confuse you on what emotion you are in. But trust that you will definitely like it.
