This is hands down, one of my favorite Gabriel Allon books in the series. It feels as though Daniel Silva wrote a love letter to all the readers that have been with him since the beginning. I will be reading/listening to this book over and over again.

Narrator did a good job but doesn’t fit Mitch Rapp

I thought the storyline was well put together. I enjoyed the familiar cast of characters and I like this side of Mitch that we are seeing (vulnerability).
My only real critic is the narrator. He did a fine job with most of the characters but when it came to Mitch and Scott Coleman it was a real let down. The voice just doesn’t match what we know of these characters. It doesn’t bring them to life. There’s not enough distinction in his voice when he speaks on behalf of Mitch, he just sounds like all of the rest of the other characters. I hope the authors/producer team aren’t done in there search to find a replacement for George Guidall

Best Mitch Rapp novel I’ve read in a long time. Thoroughly enjoyed. The series has come back alive for me and I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here.
