Narration is just strange

The content is okay - a bit extra new age-y for me. But overall good message. I’m still only a few chapters in. What kills this audible experience for me is the narration. There are at least three narrators and it feels random When the switch happens to a different narrator. Then some narrations are layered with music and that’s just distracting. The main denial narrator is just not my cup of tea and I don’t find her pleasant to listen to. I prefer simple narrators and fewer distractions.

I was expecting something different. I had hoped for actual techniques and strategies on how to build confidence. Instead several chapters in all I’m getting is confidence is this confidence is not that, confidence people are like this, not confident people are like that. No actual work to do and no real strategies. Skip this and try another book.
