This is an entertaining action story. I have not watched the movie but the book is incredible. A well thought out book with many unexpected twists and turns.

So glad Matthew took the time to write his memoir. A reflection on life itself, so much more than his acting career. Postive view of life. I will be looking for more greenlights in my own life, and bumper stickers too!

Changed completely the way I see money!

This book gave me hope- real hope that I can get my finances in order, get completely out of debt, and save and grow money for the things that matter without taking on more debt to do it. I am ready to re-listen to this audiobook and start the makeover.

Epic account of abuse and survival

Powerful story of a kidnapped girl's survival. A wake up call to all medical professionals and police about signs to look for as to when to interviene. Hard to listen to due to content, but very necessary. I doubt few girls would have been as strong as Anna was.

Important, but story drags

Important story that needs to be told and taught in schools as part of history. However the book could have been shortened to half the length. Too many unnecessary details that take away from the characters. I have 4 hours still to go and I am no longer enjoying the book.

Thoughtful easy listen

Coffee, tea and caffeine. A journey around the world and through history in a little over 2 hours. Enjoyable and made me think on some things I had not previously.

A beautiful, strong, black woman

Casey's life story is well worth reading. She survived domestic violence and a difficult childhood. But I like how she tells her story; it is a postive tone, not one that leaves the reader feeling weighed down and depressed. She is courageous, a fighter, and someone deserving of love. I hope her story will help other women, or men, to see that they are valuable even when others are oppressing them.

Gently woke me up...

and made me feel I can accomplish great things with my day. All instrumental, no words. The music caused me to self reflect and made me feel happy. I will listen to this again other mornings.

Should have a movie made

Wow. So young but so strong. Such a burning desire to keep fighting to live. Yeonmi's true life story is definitely worth the time to read or listen to. Worth reading more than once. I would love to see someone make a movie of her escape from North Korea and her determination. So glad she shared her story. It will help thousands, if not millions.
