Historia
Sharks have been on this planet for over 400 million years, so there is a lot they can teach us about survival and adaptability. For example: how do sharks, which unlike other fish are denser than water, stay afloat? They keep moving. When Jasmin Graham, an award-winning young shark scientist, started to feel that the traditional path to becoming a marine biologist was pulling her under, she remembered this important lesson: keep moving forward.

Required Reading for Everyone (or it should be!)
Revisado: 04-29-25
Jasmin Graham, through her own personal storytelling, effectively verbalizes the pitfalls of:
1. academia when it comes to students who don’t fit the status quo mold;
2. being a racial and gender minority in the professional world.
Chapters 7 and 10 were especially informative and emboldening. Graham’s fire to affect change is contagious. This is a book I’d highly recommend EVERYONE read. I have a feeling it’s a book I’ll be rereading often.

SOOOOO GOOD!
Revisado: 03-25-25
Wow! This podcast delivered the thrills, scares, and twists and turns. The Dolby Atmos sound was beautiful. The actors did an incredible job. And the story was a masterpiece. Plus, Lara Lynn’s song, “The Killer Inside”, was an intro and outro I looked forward to,

Poor Introduction
Revisado: 01-30-23
I couldn’t get into this audio book. The characters weren’t well developed enough to get interested in what happens to them, and the voice actor read too quickly.

Historia
Thirty years ago, Wilde was found as a boy living feral in the woods, with no memory of his past. Now an adult, he still doesn't know where he comes from, and another child has gone missing. No one seems to take Naomi Pine's disappearance seriously, not even her father - with one exception. Hester Crimstein, a television criminal attorney, knows through her grandson that Naomi was relentlessly bullied at school. Hester asks Wilde - with whom she shares a tragic connection - to use his unique skills to help find Naomi.

Great storytelling! The only reason it got 4 stars is because the character of Gavin was a little over-the-top. However, for those that enjoy art imitating life, the book is a must-read right now.

Neil Gaiman's use of the English language is riveting. The talented cast brought the story to life.
