Historia
Charged with the restoration of Scotland's one true king, Duncan MacAlpin isn't surprised to find himself fleeing an army across the verdant hills of his homeland. But having to do so while shackled to a woman...that is a true challenge to Duncan's ingenuity and self-control. For the lovely, untouched maiden he's chained to is far too captivating to resist.

Would like to hear more Scottish Brogue and more of a higher pitched women's voice

Historia
Mairi Maclean is kidnapped on her wedding day by the enemy of her dead husband. Taken north to the water-surrounded Kisimul Castle, she is held captive in the name of retribution. But The Wolf of Kisimul Castle soon learns Mairi is not a docile pawn in this game of war between neighboring Scots. Nor will she be frightened into walking down the aisle to wed the fierce Highland chief. Alec MacNeil is set on revenge. When he finds his enemy dead, he takes his wife to replace the one that was murdered. An eye for an eye. A bride for a bride. But Mairi is more tiger than kitten.

Historia
The greatest heroes are soft-spoken. Gregor Ramsay has never seen himself as a hero, but when the lass he fancies falls into the clutches of the Channel of Dubh, he’ll do anything he can to save her. Linet Baird will not be sold across the sea on his watch. Together with his cousin Connor, he follows Linet’s trail to Edinburgh, where it’s rumored they’ll find one of the Channel of Dubh’s final headquarters. There’s only one problem: Linet claims she doesn’t wish to be saved. Although Linet didn’t ask to be kidnapped from Ramsay land, she’s grateful it happened.

Historia
When destiny brought Sir Balfour Murray and his wounded brother down the same road as Maldie Kirkaldy, she offered her services as a nurse even as she tried to deny the desire this dark-eyed knight had ignited at first sight. Soon they discover that they both share a mission of vengeance, but Maldie cannot tell him her true identity - to do so would brand her a spy.

Reading
Revisado: 04-22-18
I do not like the narrator Angela she just does not do the story justice. There seems to be a lot of narrators that are reading the Scottish novels that do not have the accent of a Scot to read the stories and make them believable. This narrator has a very flat monotone that puts me to sleep. Suggestions would be to find narrators that are Scottish for Scottish novels and to find men narrators rather then female. Just my own observation.
