Historia
Before time as we know it began, gods and goddesses lived in the city of Asgard. Odin All Father crossed the Rainbow Bridge to walk among men in Midgard. Thor defended Asgard with his mighty hammer. Mischievous Loki was constantly getting into trouble with the other gods, and dragons and giants walked free. This collection of Norse sagas retold by author Padraic Colum gives us a sense of that magical time when the world was filled with powers and wonders we can hardly imagine.

Narration at its best!
Revisado: 06-15-17
This was an extremely entertaining listen. Norse mythology has always been a great love of mine. The author and the narrator did it justice. Ulf Bjorklund gave a stellar performance and his pronunciation was spot-on! No complaints from this happy listener.

What an interesting short story! It has a wonderfully satisfying twist at the end and is certainly worth a listen. As always, the narrator does a great job.

Worth the listen!
Revisado: 10-26-16
I was completely enthralled by the first book in this series. Clay and Gibbons make quite the comedic duo. The narrator's performance was spot on in book two, making it easy to distinguish between Gibbons AI voice and the sound of his meat bag voice. It was nice to see how Gibbons got a taste of what it's like to be in human form, albeit deteriorating, but at least he got to try it on for size. This second installment to the Fighting Iron series was creepier than the first and well worth the listen. I will never look at steak the same way again.

Historia
Just when I thought things were getting back to normal, well, normal for me, I start hearing "The Song." Who knew that old song my parents play at parties would be the number one favorite song of a serial killer? My boss, Captain Johnson, is having a fit about the FBI taking over and involving me in the case, when he clearly wants me far away from this killer. The FBI does not seem surprised by my abilities. After all, they brought in three psychics of their own. None of them, however, has been able to catch this killer.

An enjoyable Audible book!
Revisado: 07-20-16
Some of the quirky characters return in Book two of the Andromeda Spencer series. There are also a few new additions, who are just as entertaining. The Maestro of Fear lurks and Rommy soon discovers she is being stalked. Will she survive the next case with the help of hunky detective Cavanaugh? I was just as entertained by this audiobook as I was with the first.

Historia
The Bloody Conflict is long over. The lands are now controlled by despots, crooked cattle barons, energy hoarders, and anyone with enough might to keep the local folks under control. For Clay Macaulay, none of that matters as he roams the land in a war machine from a time gone by. He wants nothing to do with small desert towns or brutal dictators. He only has his sights set on a new life. Unfortunately for Clay, too many ruthless people want what he has. They want the war machine he pilots. They want the battle mech that shouldn't exist anymore.

Clay is the man!!
Revisado: 07-20-16
The new west has arrived in this post-apocalyptic tale with a tour de force! Although I must admit that I don't typically read/listen to this genre, but this story slowly dragged me in to the point I found myself enthralled. The narrator did a wonderful job and I never had trouble trying to distinguish who was speaking. Each voice was well developed and consistent. The computerized voices of the MECKs speak volumes as to the level of this narrator's professionalism. The sprinkles of humor throughout the novel added some much needed relief to an otherwise tense scenario. This was a well written enjoyable story by the author and the narrator! Congratulations.

Historia
George and Lou used to be thugs for hire. Now they're living in a shack in Costa Rica, hiding from the crime lord who wants them dead. Their last job, to deliver him a werewolf in a cage, went...badly. But they can't hide out forever, and when they're finally captured, it seems as if George and Lou's ultimate fate will involve being doused in gasoline and set aflame. Instead, they're given a second chance. There's another werewolf out there. This time, it's Ally, a 14-year-old girl.

Another Howling Good Time!
Revisado: 07-13-16
Once again, Scott Thomas delivers another wonderful narration of Jeff Strand's book, "Wolf Hunt 2." The voices are consistent, and although one part of the book was sad, the rest was very entertaining and this listener was not left bored. The comedy strewn here and there is priceless. This was another great production. Bravo, Scott Thomas!

The title is certainly appropriate.
Revisado: 03-23-16
I found the overuse of cliché’s tedious in this novel. The author tried exceedingly hard to be humorous and it just fell flat with me. Somewhere beneath the layers of nonsense is a halfway decent thriller. It’s just buried…deep. This is in no way a reflection of the narrator’s work. He did a wonderful narration with the content he was provided and he can sing well too! Bravo, J. Scott Bennett!

Historia
Meet George and Lou, thugs for hire. The kind of intimidating-yet-friendly guys who will break your thumbs, but be polite about it. Their latest assignment is to drive across Florida to deliver some precious cargo to a crime lord. The cargo: a man in a cage. Though Ivan seems perfectly human, they're warned that he is, in fact, a bloodthirsty werewolf.

Revisado: 02-09-16
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Being accustomed to the horror genre, it was what I expected. However, this story drips with sublime sarcasm that sent me into giggle fits. I just adored the characters Lou and George and was content with the ending. I have to comment on the narrator of this book. His work was superb in that I had no problem distinguishing who was speaking or when. He pulled off the funny lines with unrivaled professionalism. Scott Thomas drew me into listening to this audiobook much longer than I intended to each day. George sounded like Joe Pesci to me and I loved it!

Using my supernatural powers, I pick up extra cash working with the local PD. I'm their go-to girl when they have someone they need to find. Despite all of this, my life is pretty boring - that is, until the very hot Detective Nick Cavanaugh came into my life. Boy, did we get off on the wrong foot. I was asked to pair up with Detective Cavanaugh to look for three missing children. Did I mention that he doesn't believe in my superpowers?

Great Storyline!
Revisado: 09-19-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would not hesitate in recommending this audiobook to a friend. It's a great storyline, which will hopefully develop into a series.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot kept me interested. I worried for the children.
Which character – as performed by Holly Adams – was your favorite?
Holly did such a great job with each character, it's hard to choose just one. Nana cracked me up, but she also did very well with Rommy.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. I started this book in the morning and let it run, only taking short breaks.
Any additional comments?
I particularly loved the quirky characters in this book. The narrator did not rush or plow through the story. The pacing was perfect. The variation in of voices was phenomenal.
