Would you consider the audio edition of Sylvester to be better than the print version?
I am unsure as I have not read the book. However, I found it difficult to distinguish between the characters during the story. If I wasn't concentrating enough everyone seems to just blend together.
What other book might you compare Sylvester to and why?
The big difference between this book and other more recently written romances is that it is not full of sex scenes. This I found rather refreshing.
Which scene was your favorite?
I don't have a favorite.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not really. Maybe if it was read by someone else.

Historia
Owning a strip club isn't the fantasy most guys expect it to be. With long hours, a staff with enough issues to keep a psych ward in business, and the police regularly on his case, twenty-nine-year-old Cain is starting to second guess his unspoken mission to save the women he employs. And then blond, brown-eyed Charlie Rourke walks through his door, and things get really complicated. Cain abides by a strict "no sleeping with the staff" rule. But being around Charlie challenges Cain's self-control…and it's been a long time since any woman has done that.

Would you consider the audio edition of Four Seconds to Lose to be better than the print version?
I cannot comment since I have not read the print version.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Cain. Even though he had been through so much, he was still a kind and decent guy.
Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York – was your favorite?
Sebastian. He had an easy voice to listen to.
Elisabeth's performance was great but there were times when I found her voice a pitch too high for my comfort.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
No idea....

Hands down to an amazing mother
Revisado: 03-07-14
Where does All I Can Handle: I'm No Mother Teresa rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Middle. Not the best book and not the worse I have listened to.
But I think it is amazing how much hard work she has put in to her family.
What was one of the most memorable moments of All I Can Handle: I'm No Mother Teresa?
I can't think of one.
Which scene was your favorite?
I can't think of one.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No. But I found it difficult to laugh at some of Kim's humor. I just found it snarky at times.

Listen to it if you like typical alpha male
Revisado: 03-07-14
Would you try another book from Suzanne Wright and/or Jill Redfield?
Nope. I am not sure if it is the writing or Jill Redfield, but it was painful to listen to Jill speak in a male voice and the character sounded more like a dumb jock.
Would you recommend Feral Sins to your friends? Why or why not?
Nope. See above.
Did Jill Redfield do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
It was easy to differentiate the characters. But her male voice is not very attractive. Instead of sounding smart and sexy, she comes off as dumb and too much of a "try hard."
What would have made this romance irresistible?
Rewrite the characters' dialogues and change the narrator.
Any additional comments?
Nope.

Historia
For the past 40 years, Cheryl Cohen Greene has worked as a surrogate partner, helping clients to confront, consider, and ultimately accept their sexuality. In this riveting memoir, Cohen Greene shares some of her most moving cases, and also reveals her own sexual coming-of-age. Beginning with a rigid Catholic upbringing in the 1950s, where she was taught to think sex and sexual desires were unnatural and wrong, Cohen Greene struggled to reconcile her sexual identity.

Interesting Audiobook
Revisado: 03-07-14
Would you listen to An Intimate Life again? Why?
Nope. I bought this audiobook because I wanted to understand more about surrogate partner as a profession. Although I am no saint, there were some parts where I found it difficult to understand the choices Cheryl made and weirdly enough, I found my self angry during parts of the audiobook.
What did you like best about this story?
The brutal honesty and how strong Cheryl was.
What about Rebecca Gibel’s performance did you like?
It was alright.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Cheryl and her mother mended their relationship.
Any additional comments?
Cheryl is amazing.

Cheesy lines
Revisado: 10-03-13
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Stop all the cheesy lines in the book. The book had an interesting plot and the main guy character was suppose to be cool. However, I found it difficult to believe it when he kept saying really cheesy lines.
Another thing is that the author kept stating out the most obvious points. It made me felt stupid and talked down to.
Would you recommend Deception Cove to your friends? Why or why not?
Not really. Not unless there is no other books to listen to.
Did Joyce Bean do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Yes. She did a fantastic job.

Unlikeable main female character
Revisado: 10-03-13
Would you try another book from Laura Kinsale and/or Nicholas Boulton?
Nicholas Boulton did a fantastic job, however I am quite wary about trying another Laura Kinsale's book.
What could Laura Kinsale have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
The main female character was not very likeable. I could not finish the book since I did not care for the character at all.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Nicholas Boulton?
No idea. He did a fine job.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment and annoyance. Disappointment because the book had good reviews and I had high hopes. Annoyance whenever the main female character appeared. I don't even know why the main male likes her.
